Best Buy sent me a 16" macbook pro m3 that's over 2 thousand dollars inside a 5 dollar padded envelope. No box or any protection whatsoever. That's completely unacceptable and unprofessional for a store that sells electronics. Buy at your own risk.

I had a terrible experience with Best Buy and their so-called Price Match Guarantee. When I purchased my item, I confirmed with a Best Buy agent that I was eligible for a price match refund. They even promised and initiated a refund of $864.92 and provided me with a case ID. Based on their confirmation, I felt safe making the purchase. But after 20 days—conveniently after my return window had expired—Best Buy suddenly changed their story. They claimed the item was out of stock at the competitor’s website and refused to process the refund they had already approved. When I reached out to their agents multiple times, they kept refusing my request, completely disregarding their previous promise. This is nothing short of a scam. Best Buy tricked me into keeping the item and then refused to honor their own price match policy. If they never intended to process my refund, they should have told me before my return period expired, not after! I have all the chat transcripts and emails proving their dishonesty. I strongly warn others to be careful when dealing with Best Buy’s price match policy—they do not stand by their promises! If Best Buy wants to fix this, they need to honor the refund they promised immediately. Customers deserve better than this kind of bait-and-switch behavior!

Purchased an open box laptop in excellent condition and received one covered in scratches. Thoroughly disappointed and wish, at the very least, this information would be disclosed. Customer service did nothing to remedy the issue. Let this be a warning that the item you *think* you are receiving may be far from the actual product! Tried to be environmentally mindful of this tech purchase but Best Buy has shown me this option can’t be trusted. Looking forward to spending my money elsewhere.

Product wise its all good. No complaints so far. But I am disappointed with Ryan who lacked knowledge in explaining the product feature. Luckily, I did my homework and other BB team member was able to help. I picked my laptop on 08/25 and after three weeks I asked for adding the apple care. I asked for Store manager and Ryan claimed himself as store manager and was not allowing to add it as it was beyond 14 days of purchase. As per BB customer care team and Best Buy website, it is allowed to take Apple care within 60 days of purchase. But he was asking to return the laptop and pay additional 50$ for upgrading membership and buy a new one with apple care. I understand Ryan wants to make commission out of this, but its unethical to cheat customers providing false information. As a store manager, he is suppose to know the policies and provide correct information. I am disappointed with this person and I will really think twice to go to BB at Frisco, TX.

After 6 months, screen developed internal crack in right bottom corner. Screen had colored lines, then went black. Apple claims user damage, which did not happen. Laptop wasn't moved or touched. Apparently, now I learn there was a class action lawsuit filed against Apple in 2021 for the hundreds, if not thousands, of users with exact same situation. Apple still denies and even deleted customer comments on Apple support pages. Customers are paying around $1000 for repair and not being covered by warranty. And they are still selling them without correcting the issue. My 2012 Macbook still works fine, just can't update. Shame on Apple.

Product broke 10 days after purchase. Best Buy has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Total run around and waste of time. Worst retail experience I’ve ever had. Will never buy from Best Buy again.

Don’t waste your money on Apple. The main board died right after extended warranty expired, geek squad even said it’s common. So much for the last computer you’ll ever need to buy! No more Apple anything.
