If you read other reviews you'll hear about how some things have changed, but what I'm happy about is to see the care put into this game. Thankfully Ubisoft took the time to craft a real experience. As a huge ancient Egypt fan, I was hooked when I saw the setting, and now that they matched it with great gameplay, Assassin's Creed is where it should be. I'm actually not giving this 5 stars simply because of loot boxes and micro transactions. I highly encourage you to not support this practice the gaming industry is forcing on us. Play the game and enjoy it, don't support the micro transactions though.

The dev team created a gorgeous and detailed world to explore, along with an interesting and compelling story and set of characters. If you like AC games, this is certainly worth a play through. And with no background necessary from previous AC games, it's worth picking up for a different take on an open-world adventure!

The Egyptian setting is deep and breathtaking, especially on Xbox One X. Great story and tons of side quests keep you coming back!

The game is draws you in and the graphics make you feel like you're actually part of the Assassins Creed world. Great story complexity, side missions and expansive map.

This is exactly what the assassins creed franchise needed it’s a massive open world extremely long story mode with exciting side quests it’s the longest game to date and in my opinion the best games to date!

Since the last AC game this has been a welcomed edition. The graphics are outstanding on my 4K tv, and I've barely scratched the surface in the game. I'm very satisfied so far with my purchase.

Excellent return to the series for the Assassin's Creed franchise. Not only does it look great, they've overhauled the combat to be more difficult, and added a ton of new side missions. A return to the present day story is welcome. Feels like the next true entry after 3.

Definitely recommend this game. The controls are flawless while graphics plus soundtrack are outstanding.

So far the game has been amazing and I’ve only played 3 main missions, side quests are not repetitive and I can’t wait to try it 4K

Just started the game and everything looks amazing. Lags a bit but that's probably due to my connection being extrememly slow.

After a year break Assassin's Creed is back with a fresh set of skills and a look at where the whole story started. Some control frustrations aside (try the alternate control scheme) Origins is a fun, welcome addition to the AC line of games.

Best Assassin's Creed game since Black Flag. Highly recommend. Huge map, a lot of story missions and great graphics.

The graphics, gameplay and story, are all absolutely top notch. Very fun and involved game. Way to go Ubisoft!

Brilliant game, one of the best entries in the series. Also a great way to take an immersive 3D tour of ancient Egypt. A highly entertaining game and engaging history lesson. Ubisoft scores a hit with this one!

I haven’t played an assassins creed game since the very first one which I thought was boring and repetitive. Origins definitely changed my views on the series and now I want to play all of them! I love the graphics and being able to see the views from on top of a pyramid.

My first foray into Assasin’s Creed and am quite enjoying it. A little frustrating only being able to knock out enemies at first because I didn’t know about the hidden knife. Much more fun once you have that.

Love, love, love, did I say I love this game. :) Great graphics and gameplay plus it ads in a touch of RPG with it. Plan on spending several hours with game because it sucks you in for sure.
