I was looking for headphones that worked on PC, Xbox X, PS4 and the switch. I own a pair of 3 yr old Astro A50s that I have connected to my Xbox and while the mic is a disaster; the rest of the components are of very high quality. I decided to give these 10 year anniversary Astros a shot and I'm glad that I did. The sound is just amazing and they work on PC and all my consoles. The PC splitter and audio converter cables are very robust and steady. The PC cable is approximately 5 feet long and the audio converter cable that you are going to need to plug into your consoles is approximately 6 feet . Also, the mic, the ear cushions and covers are all swappable. These are great and I don't see myself buying another pair of gaming headsets for a long time.

As a self-proclaimed “Steelseries fanboy,” I must admit, these Astro A40s surprised me. I reluctantly returned my Steelseries Arctis 9Xs, as I wanted one headset that worked with both the Series X & the PS5. Sans the bells & whistles, the sound quality is actually quite good, & they may be the most comfortable gaming headset I’ve ever worn. I also stream with the mic, & the quality isn’t terrible.

Overall these headphones are rather good and have good sound quality, but without the mixamp pro they're pretty bad. I only had them for roughly a year and the left ear went out completely and Logitech couldn't replace them since they were a limited edition, and had to swap them for the normal ones.

I bought these for my grandson who is 16 years old and loves his Xbox and has to have a headset now. He stated this is the best heads that he’s ever had! This is his fourth one.It’s very good at keeping all the noise out so he can focus on his gaming. So I’m very satisfied with the product that I did buy for my grandson I would definitely buy this one again.

This is a amazing headset the sound quality is crystal clear and bass the 3d audio effect i can hear people run around me in call of duty heck i can even hear them walking trying to sneak up on me and the mic is amazing my friends can hear me clear as day i can even whisper and they still hear me oh i forget about the noise cancelation these have i put them on and my bro was yelling for me i did not even hear him even when he was 10 feet away just a amazing head set and this was part of best buy open box discount one no damaged to the headsey no parts were missing.

These headphones are alright for what it cost but I have a issue with the paint on the back of the ear cups where it starts coming of and then it covers everything with tiny paint chip that are impossible to remove from skin

Best pair of headsets I’ve ever owned, high quality, especially with the mix amp. Fair price as well. I recommend these to anyone whose looking for a good gaming headset. Huge Astro fan :)

I purchased these for my Xbox Series X and PS5 and could not be happier. I occasionally use them on my PC as well and they are perfect. The sound is crisp and loud just like I like it. I love the fact that you can customize them which I will likely do in the future. I plan on purchasing the noise canceling mods . I highly recommend these. Have fun and Happy Gaming!

One of the most if not the most beautiful gaming headset out there,exelent audio and super comfortable but only after 2 weeks using it i had issues with static and sometimes just getting audio from one side also it starts acting up as the controller bateries reach one bar wich is still good enough for about 2 or 3 hours of play.

Best headset I’ve ever owned wired or wireless better then the Arctic 9x Sony pulse headset and Xbox’s newest headset to name a few.

Best Buy has this headset listed as Red/Black. I was super excited to get it until I opened the package and realized this is actually a light navy blue and red. The anodized red on the metal pieces doesn't even match the red plastic. I'm returning the headset because I don't want to walk around looking like Spiderman. These are a quality headset but the colors really suck

I’ve had many Astro products over the years. Their headsets are comfortable and look cool. Sound quality is great especially when paired with their “MixAmp”. I wish Best Buy sold the MixAmp alone rather than just in the A40 bundle. I had to find one elsewhere. This is actually the second one of this exact model that I bought. The first one I purchased directly from the manufacturer’s website. That one had one dead speaker, so I returned it for a refund. I did regret not getting it at Best Buy because it would have been much faster and easier to return. I was happy to try this same model again at Best Buy when I saw they had it in stock. I’ve never had issues with these headsets until this one time. I did get Geek Squad coverage just in case, but I haven’t had any issues at all. It was also on sale, so the coverage paid for itself. If you’ve used an Astro A40 headset before, not many surprises here with the A40 TR. I’m not sure if they changed much from the last model other than the speaker covers that are removable and replaceable with custom designed covers you can order them from Astro’s website. There are also mod kits available that change the look and feel of the ear cups and head band. The X-Edition has cool packaging and an exclusive color scheme. Note: the base color of this headset is a very dark navy blue, not black. The red is metal I think and has a nice metallic sheen.

I had previously owned a set of the Astro A10's before this and while they sounded great, they were uncomfortable to wear for longer than an hour. They were heavy, very hot after a short period of time and felt like they were squeezing my head. I had always eyeballed this particular Astro headset (I don't care for wireless headsets, premium or not) because they not only look great, but I heard they were very comfortable. Man, they don't disappoint! I can wear these for hours and they don't hurt at all or cause any discomfort whatsoever. They're light despite the quality, premium material it's made of and breathable. I can still hear when people are speaking to people to me in the room when using them (I couldn't hear jack with the A10'S when I was talking to my girlfriend before) and they sound great too. They have directional audio, so you can hear where the sounds are coming from in game, so it's great for competitive play. They aren't quite as loud as my A10'S, but for all the positives they bring, it's a small, worthwhile sacrifice. I'm definitely happy with this headset!
