Easy enough to set up. However, I found that this particular Router has a known issue with Sonos. I am unable to install more than one Sonos device on the same network from this router.

Please follow the steps below.
1. Log into the router.
2. Navigate to Wireless > Professional.
3. Disable Airtime Fairness for both 2.4 and 5GHz bands.

so... this is not a modem, that's false, there is no coaxial port on the back of the item to be an all in one modem. I have xfinity and was able to connect it to the existing modem/router from xfinity. We have a 1500 sq ft home and the wifi covers the whole area, but when splitting the connections 2GB and 5GB the 5GB connection was slower than the regular wifi signal.

Based on the other reviews here, I really was expecting to be blown away by this router. People here made it seem like the signal would go through 24 inch thick lead walls. Well, I have the router in a room, and directly beneath it, about 12 feet away is my Xbox One. The only thing between the two is a standard sheetrock ceiling / floor. My signal at that spot is Fair to Good. So... yeah. Also, the signal is not very strong just 23 feet from the router simply because I walk down 5 stairs and close my inside door which is just a hollow door. So, not sure if I am doing something wrong here. AX is on, I point the antennae every which way, no difference.

I have bought multiple routers and mesh network systems in the last month or so from various retailers to try out which one suits my needs. I will say the router performed great in the house giving me optimal WiFi speeds all throughout the 2nd floor of my house acting as a second router upstairs. The reasoning behind my rating is because the price. I bought a Tenda AC23 router as well, that one performed better than this one but being 1/3 of the cost of it. It gave me better coverage and better WiFi speeds when hard wired to it. If you're looking for a good router that has better performance than this one look into the Tenda AC23.

Decent router for the price. This was the 2nd one I had, 1st one died within 48 hrs. 2nd one has been functioning 5 days so far with no problems. The automatic setup didn’t. Required manual setup. The 5400 sq ft coverage doesn’t seem to be in my home. I’m replacing a 9 year old Linksys 8300 to upgrade the network security. The Linksys has greatly better coverage with them both in the same room 8 feet apart. As I said, decent for the price.

It's a real mixed bag. On one hand, setting it up was like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded, and the signal strength is weaker than my will to resist a bag of chips. But on the other hand, when it actually works, it's like riding a unicorn through a rainbow. So, if you're up for a challenge and don't mind some hiccups along the way, give it a shot. Otherwise, maybe look elsewhere, my friends!

Great budget router if $250 plus is budget wise. I returned it though as I wanted the best I could afford and found the next step up was a much better item. Distance was marginal in a 1500 square foot home. Looks and the app are awesome though. I wanted to keep it for that alone.

This has nothing to do with Best Buy, they had it in stock and we got it, and I don’t even know if it has to do specifically with the product or just the WiFi and network currently in our apartment but it was really hard to set up, it took like 2 days to get it to the WiFi speed we wanted for our devices. And the directions weren’t amazing, we had to look up online and ended up getting the app which it didn’t prompt us to do in the instructions given. The amount of speed we are getting changes a lot. Not sure how normal that is. When it works it’s good, we get a lot less lag now which is a plus. Just have to be patient and good with technology if you want this product

I'm still on the fence about this router. I read all the reviews not once but twice before making my purchase. I'm not getting all the feels like everyone else. I'm experiencing so many issues. I bought a different router much cheaper and with far less problems. I did a few more tweaks hopefully it will work as expected. The colors are great. I did notice that when I was in a remote location and used it worked great. Maybe its the location but still it needs to work where I am presently residing.

At least it died within 30 days of my purchase date, this thing has worked great for the whole month up until around 3:00 a.m. last night when it just up and died. Verified with the internet provider that there were no issues and also worked with their tech support who told me to return it to Best Buy since I still could easily. I will probably repurchase this because of all of the value that it offers as far as features, however, I will be buying the extended warranty.
