    Great Upgrade

    I bought two of these units to replace my Asus ZenWifi units that I had for several years. Asus makes the setup process simple and easy with the web interface or phone app. We have 70 devices connected, through the mesh system and it was seamless. THe was a major upgrade from my previous system. The only thing negative was they no longer have the slots on the back of the unit for wall mounting, so I just 3d printed some holders.

    Great so far

    I got this router because I wanted one that was a good balance of longevity, value (somewhat, at least), security, and brand reputation. I had a TP Link Archer AC1200 before, and I loved it. It was incredibly cheap in comparison to other models, but got the job done for what I needed. However, I’ve read a lot lately about TP Link’s recent vulnerabilities, and it made me question whether it was still secure to use. Plus, it was outdated on top of that. Asus supposedly has a better reputation for security, longevity, automatic updates, etc. And this model, specifically, is supposedly a good balance of value (not extreme value, but value compared to top tier models) but also contains the technology that should make it last several years. It’s only been a few weeks, but connection has been great, as has the speed of my internet. I can update this review in a few months if anything changes, but so far, really happy with it.

    ASUS BE6500 Dual Band Router

    Purchased to replace faulty Linksys router. Setup/installation was a breeze. Range far surpasses my previous unit. Wife enjoys the signal strength as she is usually farthest away from the router and is pleased with the connectivity. Mostly used for streaming and surfing the web. Extremely pleased w purchase. Would recommend.

    Great router

    Excellent device. Had tons of issues with previous router through internet companies and all of them disappeared when I installed this one.
