Screen, speakers, keyboard overall build quality is great. The issue is the ram this thing slows down so much when doing anything that involves any multitasking just watching youtube and trying to open up folders or another tab and it chugs. Only reason I kept it because I got it on sale for $314

If this fits what you need get it, but it is already an obsolete product with 8gb of ram. Windows and chrome will use that much itself. So if all you do is websurf it's a good product. But spend the extra money and get something else, also Asus is shaky right now on customer support with some really bad practices. Probrably the closest you're gonna get to a windows based macbook clone though.

I needed a reliable and fast laptop as work from home via telehealth and need a fast and reliable laptop for work. I also go to school full-time and this laptop the first few weeks was a Godsend. Then about the 3rd week…the microphone and video stopped responding to Google Meets, the screen would freeze when typing. When watching a video for a class…the zenbook would close all tabs and unresponsive. Two days later it turned back on and I was behind in my work, my class assignments. Needing this 7 days a week, 18 hours a day this has really frustrated me. The closest best buy is an hour away. I work until the evening and then class and no time to return this. I’m not sure what is going on with this, but if you are someone relying on their laptop for their livelihood… I can not give this the 5 stars. Im debating what to do…buy another and then send back? The set up takes awhile as i am a google gal and not microsoft. Despite downloading google…will try to update and revert back to microsoft edge each time. Google will not work effectively on this. Maybe i have a dud. Will update once i am able to actually speak with someone from support as i purchased the protection.

I bought this during President's day sale. It's a great laptop overall. Core Ultra 5, beautiful stunning OLED touchscreen, quality design and build, fairly recent 2024 model. It was well responsive with Netflix, prime video, amazon music, Spotify, all running at the same time, and brwosing. It performed well. I didn't do any video editing or gaming. Performance was acceptable. HOWEVER, I just couldn't get over the 8 GB RAM limitation. I ended up returning it for a Ultra 7, 16GB, 1TB SSD, intel ARC graphics that was also on sale for $100 more. I works still recommend it for someone who doesn't mind the 8GB memory limitation (handicap down the road?). By the way feel in love with the ultra light and easy mobile laptop and battery life.
