I have nothing bad to say about this laptop at all. This ASUS ZENBOOK UX3405CA is a premium, quality, fast touchscreen laptop that I love. I researched laptops for 6 months before I purchased this one on sale for $749 ($999.99 normal price). It has a all-metal body, no plastic junk, and weighs only 2.64 lbs (1.2 kg) at a tiny 14.6 mm in thickness of this unit. The Intel Ultra 7 255h is one of the best CPUs out there for speed, value, along with one of the best IGPU's on the market, and that's the Intel ARC 140T IGPU, that is very good for a integrated GPU. Other specs include: 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM @ 7584 MT/s, WUXGA OLED touchscreen display, 512 SSD, 2x Thunderbolt 5 ports, 1x USB A, HDMI, 3.5 mm headphone/ speaker jack, kensington lock,

I’m very happy with this ASUS Zenbook 14. The OLED touch screen looks amazing bright, sharp, and with really rich colors. It makes everything from web browsing to streaming videos look premium. The laptop itself is also sleek, lightweight, and easy to carry around, which is perfect for work, school, or travel. Performance has been excellent so far. The Intel Core Ultra 7, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD make the laptop feel fast and responsive. It starts up quickly, handles multitasking well, and runs smoothly for everyday tasks and office work. The keyboard feels comfortable, and the overall build quality gives it a solid, high-end feel. I wish it had a little more storage, and battery life depends a lot on how bright you keep the OLED screen. Other than that, it’s a great laptop and definitely worth considering if you want a stylish, fast, and portable device.

The Asus Zenbook 14 is a very good laptop with solid build quality and a powerful processor. It runs all software smoothly with no lag. The touchpad can be a little less sensitive sometimes, but apart from that, it does not heat up much and the fan noise stays low to moderate. Overall, it is a reliable and fast laptop.

I love the screen quality, the keyboard, the material of the laptop, the power, the speed, the speakers are amazing, it charges fast and isnt loud unless you push it to be. One flaw though but its not a big enough flaw to reconsider. But when updatyit gets hot. That is the only time it actually got hot, ive ran roblox in a hot environment/room and the laptop was mostly warm sfter maybe an hour of play. Great laptop with great specs for the price.

It’s a good product overall. I mainly use it for my work, including testing, running tools, and analyzing data. The performance is smooth and stable, even when handling multiple tasks at once. Setup was simple, and it works reliably without issues. The design is clean and the build quality feels solid. It has been helpful for my daily work, and I would recommend it to others who need a dependable device.

The Asus zenbook is very nice, sleek, compact and powerful with an amazing oled screen all rolled into one portable and powerful computer. This computer has very excellent specs for being this small in a 14 inch screen, OLED, Ultra Intel Core 7, 512gb ssd, 16gb ram, Intel Arc Graphics Card, super lightweight and a long lasting battery. I watched some movies, played games and multitasked with the office suite with no problem at all. The biggest gripe i would say is the amount of storage in the ssd as i would say 1tb should be the minimum across the board for all computers that are this high end. Something as powerful as this computer will need a lot more storage for gaming and videos or programs that make full use of the gorgeous oled screen on display. The portability is one of the best out there as you barely use much room carrying this around and it is super lightweight. The light up key board is a nice addition also. Movies look great on the oled screen and 4k makes it look even better. Gaming is so smooth and has no problems with whats powering his laptop. I highly recommend this computer for students, casual use and for watching movies and playing games. This is a great looking and affordable computer that is perfect for anybody!

Quick summary: I have another ASUS laptop that’s worked great for the last year or so. I needed another so I selected this ASUS Zenbook. Like the other ASUS laptop, this one is a solid, light weight laptop. There is a quality feel to the entire thing. The Intel Core Ultra Processor is very quick and can tackle just about any home or office task asked of it. The 500 GB hard drive is fast and a good size for a laptop. If you need more, you can always add a portable USB drive. The 16 GB of memory is more than adequate for most daily tasks. It’s also very fast at 8533 MHz. If you are doing larger graphics projects or media editing, you might want more memory, but this should be adequate for smaller projects. The touchscreen is a nice extra. It’s responsive as well. There’s nothing to dislike about this laptop. It has Intel’s latest technology and hardware. It’s an especially great choice for someone that travels. Hardware: The Body: This laptop is lightweight at 2.82 lbs. It’s not the lightest but it feels solid. There is no flex in the screen when opening. The hinges are just about perfect. I can open the screen with one hand and it stays put once it’s open The Jasper Gray finish does not really attract fingerprints unless you have greasy fingers. The Keyboard and Touchpad: The keyboard and touchpad work as expected. I didn’t have any odd glitches. The keyboard is illuminated with a white backlight. It’s not RGB so the color cannot be changed. The keys are a good size, action is nice and it’s very responsive. The keypad is a good size and also very responsive. It has 4 hotspots on it. Left side controls volume, right side - screen brightness, top is Forward/Rewind and swiping from the top right towards the center will open ASUS ScreenXpert. The Screen: As with my other ASUS laptop, the OLED screen is the best thing about this laptop. It’s bright and sharp with amazing contrast. It is high 2k resolution (WUXGA - 1920 x 1200 - 60Hz) and has my preferred 16:10 ratio. This screen ratio is better for work software like MS Office because it is a little taller and a little less wide than the more typical 9:16 ratio. Graphics: This laptop uses Intel’s latest integrated graphics hardware, Arc 140T. You won’t be playing any modern, graphics intensive games with this but it worked great for productivity programs I threw at it. Windows opened and closed smoothing. Animations were also smooth. Colors are vibrant and contrast strong. Sound: The speakers on this very thin laptop surprised me with their volume levels and their clarity. Laptops I’ve used in the past are not loud at all and when I did turn up the volume, they would crackle and break up. That is not my experience with this Zenbook. Volume won’t blow you away, but you don’t have to use 100% volume to hear YouTube videos in a room with some background noise. The Ports: On the left side, there is a USB A 3.2 Gen 1 port. On the right size, there is a full-size HDMI 2.1 port, 2 thunderbolt 4/USB Type-C ports and an audio combo jack. There are also indicator lights for charging and power. There is no memory card reader. You will need an adaptor if you need this feature. The Battery: This laptop charges quickly. There is a battery saver setting in the MyASUS software that lets you limit charging to 80%. I’m OK charging to only 80% to save battery life. Based on my usage so far, battery life is well over 12 hours when fully charged. Specs say up to 18 hours and I think I could get close to that. Using the Laptop: Bootup is very quick. Somewhere around 12 seconds. Shut down takes 6-8 seconds. Programs open very quickly as expected with modern hardware. I honestly didn’t run into any hiccups in the week or so that I used this. I’m not really a gamer so I didn’t play any games other than solitaire (the touchscreen is great for this :-) However, the video card didn’t have any glitches with the software I used. I was able to surf the web and watch videos smoothly. Software: There are trial versions of MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud. Office is preinstalled. Adobe you need to claim through the MyASUS app. AI is not at the forefront of this laptop. It uses the latest IA apps in Windows 11. Mainly Copilot but there are other integrations as well in the Photos App, Paint App and some Search features. The MyASUS app is the place to go to see how your computer is performing and doing updates. It’s the software for more technical information. There are sections for settings, diagnostics and updates. If you have other ASUS devices, like a router, you can access them through this software as well. I find this app to be one of the cleanest and easiest to use of all the PCs and Laptops I’ve set up. I still hate that Windows tries so hard for you to create a Microsoft account when you first start the computer. Offline accounts should be easy to create if you want that. Final thoughts: As noted earlier, this is a very solid laptop. I didn’t have any issues. If you are a gamer or someone with extreme hardware needs, look at something else. If you just need a light, fast laptop with some really nice features (screen in this case) this Zenbook 14 is an excellent choice.

I generally love Asus, but had a hiccup with this one. I would take off half a star for my issue if I could, but since I can't, I will give all 5 in hopes my issue was just a one-time event. THE GOOD ~ USB-C ~ Touch screen ~ Vibrant colors and black blacks ~ Bright ~ Portable ~ Feels dutable (metal) ~ Full hd+ resolution ~ Fast ~ 1080p Camera ~ Backlit keyboard ~ SSD drive ~ 16 GB DDR5 RAM THE BAD ~ Bricked on me for a day ~ Co-Pilot was not very good THE MEH (could go either way) ~ USB-A port ~ 512 MB SSD drive ~ 16 MB RAM (not upgradeable) ~ Integrated graphics ~ No Display Port (HDMI only) ~ 2Ghz processor (I think they say it is burstable to 5+ Ghz) OVERALL As I said above, I generally love Asus. I built my desktop with an ASUS motherboard because I trust them and like their products. This isn't the lightest laptop you can find, but for me, that's a good thing. Instead of being made of cheap plastic, it has a sturdy build with metal case. I have a similar one from a couple years ago and it has taken some abuse and continues to function and look great. I Trust this one will hold up just as well. For most businesses and home uses this laptop will be a great asset. It handles general jobs like Word, Excel, etc without any problems. The graphics on it are awesome. While you may not want 14" to be your main viewing device, this is lightweight and portable enough that you can travel with it and still stream your favorite shows in HD. My interactions with Co-pilot weren't the best. She talked to me for a couple minutes, continuously asking me the same questions and giving me the wrong answers while searching for a specific product. After a couple minutes, it switched to text and continued to (in my view) malfunction. It provided results and when it asked if that was what I was looking for and I responded "No," Co-pilot said something to the extent of, "Sorry. You're actually looking for THIS (repeated my search criteria), right?" I agreed and then it provided stuff that had liuttle to none of my criteria in it. I don't believe Co-pilot is ready for priometime if you're looking for very specific products and such. The big drawback I had was after using it for a day or two, I opened it up and had a black screen. The power light on the side indictaed it was on and functioning, but no matter what I tried, I couldn't get the screen to turn on. After wasting a great deal of time, I did a search. I had to hold the power button dowen for 30-40 seconds before it finally came to life. The clock and everything had lost over a day's worth of time (it was set to about 30 hours prior to current). It did a bios/firmware update after that. Since then, I haven't had any issues. I'm hoping it was just a one-off and I won't see a repeat. (I'll look at other reviews after posting this to see if it happened to anyone else). THE BIG QUESTION Would I recommend this to friends and family? Yes, I would. Depending on the person, I might recommend going with a larger hard drive and more RAM, but for average users who are looking for something for school, work, or something portable, this will more than suffice.

The ASUS Zenbook 14 came well packaged in a box. I know it was well packaged as the shipping box was damaged but the laptop is fine. I do a few things when I get a new laptop: - Charge the battery. - Connect to Wi-Fi. - Install all updates. The MyASUS app indicated there were a number of updates needed. This included a bios update from v302 to v307. - Install critical apps like antivirus. I really like this laptop! This is my new favorite laptop! This is my first time using Windows 11 though. I am not a fan! Charging is fast using either of the Thunderbolt connections. PROS: The video (Samsung OLED) and sound (harmon/kardon) is the best I have seen in a laptop. The 1920 x 1200 OLED video is truly amazing! It would be nice if the screen was better than 60Hz. The keyboard is responsive to the touch and is great! The backlight on the keyboard is smart and only turns on when the light is not sufficient. They keys are the correct size not like some other laptops. The tactile response of the keys just feels right. The power bottom is on the keyboard and not on the side of the laptop. I like this personally. The trackpad is the best I have used. It is very large. It is sensitive to the touch just right. There is a feature on the trackpad I have not seen before. It is very cool and works perfectly! There is an added feature for the left, top and right of the trackpad. You see these on the sticker attached to the trackpad. Sorry the picture is not great! The features are: -Left: hold the center left and move up/down to increase/decrease volume. -Top: hold the top center and move right or left. -Right: hold the top left and move up/down to increase/decrease screen brightness. The battery life is very good. It should last all day as long as you are not using battery intensive tasks like gaming or video. I did a test of playing Netflix. After about 4 hours I was close to the end of the battery life. They advertise 15+ hours of battery life. As I write this review, the batter status is 92% remaining with 14h and 52min. The laptop is very light at 2.82 lbs. You can easily carry it in one hand. CONS: I would like to see one more USB-A. I use a USB hub so it is OK to only have 1 connection for me. But it may not be for others. The screen is 60 Hz. This could impact some videos and games. SUMMARY: I absolutely LOVE this laptop. There is not one significant thing I can criticize. I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this laptop. Here are some stats for the geeks (like me) out there: - Motherboard: ASUS UX3405CA Intel Arrow Lake - CPU: Intel Core Ulta 7 255H. base clock 3700 MHz and the turbo max is 5100 MHz - RAM: Micron 16 GB 4266 MHz - NVME: 512 GB WD SN500S - Monitor: OLED Samsung SDC41A0 OLED 1920 x 1200 60Hz - Sound: harmon/kardon - Connections: 4 x Thunderbolt 4; 1 x HDMI 2.1 and 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1Type A - Network: Intel Wi-Fi 7 - Battery: ASUS 75086 mWh capacity with 3 cells

The Asus Zenbook 14-inch OLED is a premium portable laptop that certainly looks the part with good hardware and minimal bloatware. It’s nicely crafted with a slick aesthetic and a very premium feel, even though very light. The 1080p 14-inch OLED touchscreen is the main attraction even at high definition resolution. The great contrast between the deep blacks and the dynamic colors never ceases to impress me. I usually don’t stream videos on my laptops, but I keep finding excuses to stream high quality videos just to enjoy the beautiful images. The screen responds well and precisely to touch. This model has more than decent sound for a laptop. I was mostly impressed with the channel separation. I watched a sci-fi series with Dolby Atmos sound and the effects were amazing, plus it can play loud. To complete the list of hardware, under the hood, an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor handles the software, aided by 16GB of RAM and a 512GB Solid State Drive. The processor handles regular functions with ease and makes multitasking effortless as long as it’s not a graphic heavy program or videogame. I typed this review on the Zenbook laptop and, to me, the backlit keyboard is comfortable to type on for long periods of time. It’s made of quality plastics, although I would not call it high-end. There’s no numeric pad which is understandable for its small size. The touchpad is wide enough and is responsive. I like that you can control the brightness, sound and rewind/fast forward with a slide of the finger. The camera works well and never fails to recognize my face to unlock the computer even in low light conditions. I have to say that the resolution is average but it does the job. The ultraportable nature of this laptop, being thin and lightweight, means that the connections are not plentiful. It offers two Thunderbolt 4/power delivery ports, one HDMI and one Gen1 USB-A 3.2 ports, along with a headphone jack which should be enough for most users. From the MyAsus app, you can customize it to your liking and the options are plentiful for screen settings, sound, keyboard lighting and battery saving modes. I’ve been happy with the battery life so far. I take it with me while on the road for work and I always have about half a charge left if I adjust it to the right settings. In conclusion, this Asus Zenbook won me over with its gorgeous OLED screen. If you want a quality portable laptop that performs well with everyday software, this one's for you, plus you get a bonus treat for the eyes with that touchscreen. It is not the best premium portable laptop that I’ve ever used, but it’s right up there. Two thumbs up!

This review is for the ASUS Zenbook 14 UX3405CA, touch screen - 14 inch OLED - Intel core ultra 7 255H - 512G SSD - 16GB RAM - Windows 11 Home Unboxing the laptop - it was nicely packaged and protected. The first thing that stood out was the color of the laptop is called Jasper gray, its similar to gunmetal color matte finish so you don’t have to worry about fingerprints or scratches. Out of the box it had charge and enough for me to set up new laptop. The set up was very easy and walked me through the entire process as with everything electronic I’m glad they somewhat standardized the process so everything is the same regardless of brand. During set up I did experience about 5 dropped WiFi connections which I initially thought it was the laptop WiFi card but after troubleshooting it was a small area in my office that contributed to the drops. When I moved the laptop to another area I didn’t experience anymore drops. It was frustrating because I had to repeat the WiFi set up 5 times. As for connectivity after I got through the WiFi issues everything else was a breeze. I am used to using PC laptops for work so it was a good thing because it allowed me to navigate easily. First impressions the case was very nice, the color and material very solid feeling and didn’t feel cheap. The weight was amazing, I love how light it was and portable for a 14 inch laptop. Very thin and the best part is the power cord was also small and lightweight. The lighted keyboard was a must and it was bright in low light, the screen was also bright at its brightest setting. When I was typing the keyboard was solid however it had a plastic sound to it when typing. Not a deal breaker because it was solid, tactile and responsive. It would have been nice if it was quieter when typing but again not a deal breaker because the keys did not feel cheap. Display was very clear and the colors are vibrant, I didn’t have to adjust anything. I had multiple tabs opened, excel, and word open and didn’t have any issues with speed. This is a good buy laptop. Overall, I highly recommend this laptop if you are looking for a lightweight, portable and solid 14 inch laptop. The price point is reasonable considering the specs are very solid. Also, its pretty fast for productivity and business use.

The ASUS - Zenbook 14 14" FHD+ OLED Touch Screen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 - 16GB RAM - 512GB SSD - Jasper Gray is now the coveted laptop in my home. The feature that stands out the most is the OLED touch screen. I recently bought my first OLED TV and it is so crisp and clear that I will never buy anything but an OLED in the future. The picture on the laptop is exactly like my TV, and I can’t stop admiring how great the picture looks even on the smaller screen. The laptop is primarily being used during a typical school day and for homework if needed. When submitting assignments, it uploads super-fast and shows the preview of the work submitted very quickly, especially compared to the previous laptop I had that was also an ASUS. Battery life, without charging during use, lasts about 1.5 school days. Charging time is about 2.5 hours. For Roblox gaming it is very quick to load and does a good job of processing and keeping the picture clear even when I’m turning quickly. The keyboard is back-lit with the option of high, medium, low, or no light. The key strike is super satisfying and the response time is lightning fast. The weight of the laptop feels like a feather in my backpack compared to my old ASUS. Even the charger is lighter than the previous one. The speakers are well balanced and have great sound. On full blast it does not rattle or become distorted. It does not get overbearingly loud either. AI processing speed is very fast. For example, I like to use Gauth AI to check the accuracy of math problems. Processing before was about 8-10 seconds, now with this laptop it is usually 1-2 seconds. In general, the Intel AI boost speeds everything up and makes it more efficient. The Copilot App that comes on the computer has been very useful too. I have been enjoying the “practice a language” option on copilot. It’s been great because my Spanish is getting rusty since I don’t converse often enough, and this gives me the ability to converse and be corrected without embarrassment. Let’s not forget the ports. There is a USB-A, HDMI, Audio Jack, and two (USB-C) Thunderbolt 4 ports. This covers all the bases and provides complete functionality for standard use and/or presentations.

After using this laptop for the past month, I am thoroughly impressed. It strikes the perfect balance between performance, portability, and build quality. The Good: · Performance: It handles my daily workload effortlessly—dozens of browser tabs, 4K video streaming, office applications, and even light photo editing. It hasn't slowed down or frozen once. · Display: The 13.3" touchscreen is bright, sharp, and vibrant. It's a pleasure for both work and entertainment. · Portability: It's incredibly lightweight and thin. I can take it anywhere in my bag without noticing the weight. The battery easily lasts me a full day of mixed use (8+ hours), which is outstanding. · Design & Build: The aluminum chassis feels premium and sturdy. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the trackpad is precise and responsive. Things to Note: · Given its slim profile, it has limited ports (primarily USB-C). I needed a simple adapter to connect my older USB-A and HDMI devices, which is common for modern ultrabooks. Verdict: If you're looking for a powerful, reliable, and truly portable laptop, this is an exceptional choice. It offers excellent value for its quality and feature set. I highly recommend it for students, professionals, or anyone in need of a versatile daily driver. It has exceeded all my expectations.
