I really wanted to like this, but I just can’t ignore the high pitched hum that the built in preamp puts out. It otherwise sounds great. Sitting next to my old technics 1200, it definitely isn’t a replica. Lighter, mostly plastic construction, weaker motor, tonearm height not adjustable, etc. However, it still sounds pretty good - except for the high pitched preamp hum (not a lower 60hz grounding hum) that is consistent across the USB and AUX outputs. Also, the preamp switch is touchy. Turned it on and only could hear the left channel. Fiddled with the switch and the right cams on. Maybe these are problems with just this one? Don’t know. Do your research - I didn’t do enough. If you buy and have a problem, don’t wait to return or exchange.
