After reading many reviews, I opted to purchase this item for auxiliary food storage - especially of my fruit harvests. It was nice to find a refrigerator only with no freezer and I found this item to be well-built and operating so quietly that I can have it in an open floor plan area without any disturbance at all. I did notice some complaints and realized that those were probably based on not having read the setup instructions. It is important to allow the unit to stand for several hours before plugging it in or the coolant will not have distributed itself properly and the unit could fail. Also, a 24 hour cool-down time is definitely recommended before setting the thermostat to where it is wanted. I used a probe-type thermometer with a cord leading to the display and observed the temperature for two days until I got it adjusted. We have another Avanti unit in our downstairs family room which has run very well for 15 years. I am pleased with this item and the careful delivery packaging.

The fridge was purchased online and delivered to our house. The outer packaging seemed good but on closer inspection the fridge had 4 dents. One dent was across the whole face of the door. We returned to nearest Best Buy with no issues but will not be purchasing another. Poor quality control somewhere in the process and based on the clean packaging it would appear to be at the manufacturer. Be careful and inspect your purchase

This little fridge is perfect for giving us that extra space we needed to move all of the beer & drinks out of the main fridge. It was very hard to find a smaller unit such as this without a small freezer compartment and that had temperature controls to make sure things stay cold. And they do, already froze 4 bottles of beer since we set the control too low! Easy to clean and maintain too.

I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a regular fridge without a freezer. Since I use this in my dorm room, I don't need a freezer. Let me tell you, this fridge is super quiet. I've had various types of mini-fridges, and this one is by far the best. The inner design is great, too. I can store 2 days worth of leftovers. I would definitely recommend this for a dorm room or man cave.

The only negative I have for this product is that the first one did not work. No obvious damage from shipping but it wouldn't cool. Returned it to Best Buy (no hassle other than needing to haul it out of our apartment and to a store). Ordered a replacement and the second one has worked as advertised. Holds temperature steady and makes very little noise.

We bought this to keep beer and wine really cold and separate from our regular refrigerator. I wanted one with a light, no freezer and energy star. This model has it all, and it is nice looking too. Oh and it is frost free and very quiet. Was delivered fast and without any shipping damage.

This is the perfect size fridge to use as a small beer fridge to free up space in the main fridge. The shelf sizes are great to hold both 12oz & 16oz cans and can accommodate up to 20 16oz cans per shelf. Fully stocked it can hold close to 75 cans if you use the drawer space as well.

Had a hard time finding a refrigerator without a freezer. This type maximizes space if no freezer is needed and I think it should have more uniform temperature throughout the space without the colder freezer at the top. Time will tell. It looks like a quality product.

great for camping, but taller than I thought. didn't need a freezer to defrost so this is just what i needed. however the warranty and product listing (certification to safety standards) was key to my choice

I'm a home brewer who searched all over for a mini fridge that could hold a 6 gallon Carboy for beer lagering without taking off a freezer compartment or taking off the door. The shelves remove and the Carboy fits with an s-shaped airlock with an inch to spare. The door closes snug even with an analog thermostat cord on an edge of the door. It keeps my beer steady at 40F even in the hot garage during the summer.

I bought this to replace an old college compact refrigerator that I currently use as a beverage holder. The shelves on this make it more adjustable. The size is perfect.

I love it!! I wanted something to keep drinks cold in the family room that did not have a freezer. This is great, it holds several cans and bottles.

Nice enough. Lockable which was why we bought it. Wish it had a freezer but couldn't find one with a freezer that was lockable. It's quiet an the money was right.

Received Avanti AR4456SS damaged on left back corner. Bestbuy rep. Was very helpful. Offered to replace unit, but I wanted to see if frige still worked. It did, better than expected! Rep. Offered a 10% compensation if I decided to keep it...& I did! Very happy with Bestbuy!!! (Fridge as well!)

Was a nice looking mini fridge, but must have been damaged in shipping because it tripped the circuit breaker. Return was handled timely and credit promptly issued.
