This product works well with many different memory cards. The connection is easy and the device is small

I needed an external CAC reader to be able to check military email while TDY to avoid traveling with two computer. Purchased this at the recommendation of the sales associate. Installation was a little confusing (for me at least). It doesn't come with directions for that, but you do have to download drivers to get it to work. After lots of time on Google, I got it to work. It seems to work well and gets the job done.

This smart card reader works right out of the box; no extra steps necessary. I got it to replace my old CAC reader and I've had no issues with it whatsoever. The card fits in nicely and it works every time.

I hated being a part of the military and havibg to always be on base to find the right computer equipment I needed to get work done securely. Once I found I could use the Belkin CAC Card reader, I was in heaven. I no longer had to go out of my way to get the work I needed to finish done!

I bought this card reader for my brother who is serving in the Army. I need a reader that is reliable, secure and functions well. It has not disappointed us. We love it and highly recommend it to anyone in need. It is reasonable priced too.

Setting the reader up was hard to do, but once completed the reader works great and the ability to get to all my military secure sights at home is easy.

This card reader looks much more slick and appealing than the ones provided by the military, and overall functions in the exact manner I need it to. I'm not 100% sure of its full capabilities, as being a reservist I have very basic needs from a CAC reader, but overall it has allowed be to access anything that I've needed to from my home computer in the same capacity as my original one that I misplaced. The more stylish look of this one goes much better than the old, 1990s style ones the military gives out, and I feel less ridiculous leaving it out and plugged into the computer all the time.

I use a PIV card to log into my computer network and this card reader works just fine. Sometimes I get a error message with it not reading my card but after a couple re-inserts I usually get it to work these card readers are hard to find in traditional brick-and-mortar store them and Tori so I was lucky to not have to wait and order it online.

It's self installing plug and play CAC card reader, 100 percent no software required. Great device to access my AKO and other DoD websites from home. It does exactly what it says. I recommend this device.

A smart card reader is necessary for me to access my work. When the work-issued laptop locked up, it was necessary for me to purchase a card reader for my personal laptop. The only choice I had at the Best Buy location was this one. I purchased it, the driver's loaded, and I was good to go!

Purchased this for my son who is the Reserves and needs it to access his military account. He is very happy with this item.

easy to set up and has been very useful in accessing resources our son needed to complete training.

I'm a Mac guy. Most CAC readers will work with Macs, but some wont. This one has no problem working with either Mac or PC. Is also very sleek and shining. Seems like most CAC readers get their design concepts from lowest bidders. Belkin looks like and does not have a government vibe.

Reads my card easily and works well with military issues

Very easy to use, plug and play smart card reader. I bought a reader with a different brand only to find out that it requires me to download and install a driver worth over $70 for it to work. I had to return that and buy this. I’ve had it for over a month and I use it everyday.

So far, after two weeks of continual use, no problems. Just hook it up and use it - as there is no software to load. Reads my work badge, so I can work from home, just fine. Also, reads my daughter's Army Reserve Card. We will see how it stands up.

one of the best way to access your CAC enabled services , actively interface with windows and Mac machines , straight forward out of box (assuming Mac) no need to install any drivers it works right away
