Q: Is this the same machine that you rent in the big box stores? Or is it a different model?
A: I’ve rented a cleaner from Home Depot but it wasn’t a Bissell. I’ve used a rental machine and had a professional with the long hose that runs to a van clean my carpets and neither did the job as good as the Big Green. The Bissell either lightened or completely removed stains the others couldn’t touch. And after cleaning my carpet was damp not wet. It dried within a couple of hours. I’m very happy with my purchase.
Q: How large is the clean/dirty water tanks?
A: The top tank is for the dirty water and the bottom tank holds the clean water/cleaning solution.... they both hold 2 gallons of liquid EACH. I hope this answers your question.
Q: does this big green clean stair steps?
A: Comes with hose attachment to do the stairs.
Q: Can the green machine be used as a regular vacuume?
A: No it cannot, this is for water extraction only.
Q: Is it worth getting the extra geek squad warranty on this machine?
A: It has a 5 year warranty already.
Q: This is 110v only. or. 220v
A: This unit is 120V.
A: Your flow gauge is broken. Known issue if you use hot water in the machine. You can buy replacement parts online and there are youtube videos on how to do the repair if you are out of warranty.
