I spent hours researching and chose this as my new vacuum and I am glad I did. It's so easy to lift off the canister and get up and down the stairs with my pet attachment, getting cat hair off the steps, off the furniture. I love the auto-adjusting feature of the base going from carpet to floor. I love that the base is lit allowing me to see all the dust down a dark hallway. And bonus, the wand is lit too, so vacuuming under the sofa and other shadowed areas allows me to see what's there to vacuum up. It's so simple to use, to clean and it sucks up all the cat litter that gets tracked around, fur, and everything else. If there's just a little mess or spot to clean up, I get the vacuum out because it's that easy to fire up and be done 2 minutes later. I'm very, very, happy with this choice! I used to hate the hassle of vacuuming the stairs ~ not anymore! It looks nice too ~ rose gold and black. Seriously, you cannot beat this functionality at such a low price.

I have two pets, a cat and dog. This vacuum works perfectly for my two pet home. Having the ability to clean multiple surfaces, including ledges/baseboards, brings me a peace of mind. It's a well balanced, light weighted, easy to use vacuum.

This is an amazing vacuum, it's light, nimble & easy to use. It does a fantastic job at cleaning as an upright vacuum & with the added benefit of the lift-off canister for tackling jobs that better suite this mode is the icing on the cake. This vacuum doesn't shy away from anything I throw at it, it seems eager to conquer every challenge. I definitely recommend getting this vacuum.

I previously had a Shark Navigator and this vacuum blew it out of the water. I have to preface this by saying I have a HIGH shed dog and vacuumed WEEKLY with the Shark. The first time using the Bissell I had vacuumed two days prior to receiving it and had to empty the canister SIX times and I live in a small 2-bedroom apartment. Side note, I have been the only tenant in the apartment since new carpet was placed, so I know it was only my dogs hair. Cannot recommend this vacuum enough!

SO happy we switched to Bissell. I have always liked the design and capabilities of the higher end lifts way vacuums, and this does even better for a lower cost! We vacuumed 1 day after using our old one and it picked up SOOO much dust and dirt that had clearly been missed for over a year (see photo). The pet tool is really helpful too for the dog hair on the couch and chairs. My husband and I actually like vacuuming now?

This was a great buy, and more powerful than our last vacuum. This Bissell pulls the dirt and dust from deep within the carpet.

The vacuum as an upright is great. Lightweight, easy to use and great power. HOWEVER I’ve gone through 2 of them in the last 36 hours because when you use the lift-off feature, an extremely loud and irritating squealing noise happens. I purchased each of the vacuums from 2 different Best Buy stores. A $300 vacuum should not have this issue. Makes me nervous to try any other Bissell products with the same feature. Returning the second one today and i think ill opt to purchase a separate dust buster instead of another lift-off version.

We were looking into upgrading our old vacuum. We just didn’t know which one to get so we read all the previous reviews on different vacuum brands. After all the reading and comparing our existing Bissell we decided to stick with the brand we know and love. It works great!! Love to have a vacuum to give our rumba a break with all the dog hair.

Absolutely love this vacuum! I love all the different ways it can be used, the detachable vacuum for when you want to vacuum stairs or higher up places, the hose and the parts that come with it make vacuuming the furniture so easy. The ease of the swivel motion to reach every crevice and light to show the smaller crumbs or dust. I usually buy expensive vacuums that don’t do half of what this one does and the price is very reasonable. Will definitely recommend to everyone. Even my husband and kids love to use it. The best part is that the vacuum is so easy to clean because it all comes apart making it easy each use, where you get the best clean each and every time.

Vacuum works pretty good real easy to use inconvenient

It's a great vacuum that tackles my single family home with pets perfectly. Great range of tools for furniture, window ledges and dusting. Easy to clean and maintain. However... Had to bring back the first one, same model, after just short of a year. The sensor that works for carpet to floor, which turns the brush on and off, crapped out. I know in 2026, it's just cheaper to return and get a new one. No one repairs items like this anymore, which is an absolute shame. Geek squad warranty pays dividends on items like this. Without it, I would have had to go through Bissell and who knows how that would have turned out. Maybe positive, maybe negative, but didn't have to jump through hoops to find out. Bottom line; it's a great vacuum but durability is to be desired. Conflicted on how to exactly rate it so I'll go with three stars. Buyer beware.
