This review is more about Best Buy than the phone. I have purchased Blu phones in the past and had good service out of all of them in the past. This one came defective. Every time you charged the battery, it overheated and the phone would shut down. When I took it in to the Springfield Mo store, the guy at the geek squad sneered at me for buying a cheap phone and said they only worked on Apple phones. I then returned the phone within the return window, and was charged a re-stocking fee. I will never buy anything from Best Buy again if you can't return a defective item and get a full refund. I sure hope they aren't going to re-stock a defective phone and sell it to someone else! So long Best Buy!!

The blue g33 is at heart... A phone. Pro: Device shipped without issue was not damaged when I got it even though this was already an "open box" selection. All parts were available. Best Buy's part in the transaction went flawlessly. Phone was able to make calls. Take texts and surf the Internet when on a network. Cons: this device has pop-up ads that are internal to the phone's operating system. Upon upon activation, the phone attempted to install five unrequested games and several unwanted non-necessary apps. Certain apps like Amazon Kindle which do not natively have preload ads had ads added by the OS system. In addition, the device regularly simply restarted without external cause. Connection and calls were sometimes choppy. Device battery life was also highly problematic. Conclusion: This device did serve the purpose I purchased it for which was to have a phone that if I were to lose would not be the end of the world. However, if the phone functioned weld, I did plan to use it as a non-phone app platform for certain media. That will not be happening. I cannot recommend this device to anyone nor do I believe I can recommend any device by the company that made it. The ads alone show a problematic philosophy in design. In addition, there were attempts to breach certain accounts that coincided with me using this device. While I cannot say for certain that that those were caused, I am highly suspicious.

This phone sucks. Loses battery fast, screened cracked after a very minor fall. Microphone has stopped working, camera is miserable. Giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it does charge fast and prior to microphone issues call quality was decent.

The charger does not charge the phone. It also runs very slow.

The phone has several issues like sound quality, display wrong sim card company etc. Not Recommended

The price was affordable but the device continues to overheat and turns off.
