The bObsweep Maxim is a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable robot vacuum that balances performance, convenience, and value. Right out of the box, setup is straightforward, making it easy even for first-time robot vacuum users. In terms of cleaning power, the Maxim does a great job picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair from both hard floors and low-pile carpets. Its strong suction and wide brushes help it cover more surface area efficiently. While it may not match the highest-end models, it definitely holds its own for everyday cleaning needs. One of its standout features is the built-in UV sterilization light, which adds an extra layer of cleanliness—especially useful for homes with pets or allergies. The large dustbin also means fewer trips to empty it, which is a nice convenience. Navigation is decent, though not the smartest on the market. It uses sensors to avoid obstacles and stairs, but it can occasionally bump into furniture or miss tight corners. Still, for its price range, the performance is respectable. Battery life is another strong point, allowing it to clean medium to large areas on a single charge. It automatically returns to its charging dock when needed, which adds to the hands-off experience. Overall, the bObsweep Maxim is a dependable robot vacuum that offers good cleaning performance and useful features at a reasonable price. It’s a great option for anyone who wants to keep their floors tidy without spending a fortune.

This machine has been great to have. It cleans better than our other robot vacuum. It is quiet and easy to use. The machine did have trouble finding the docking station initially but it’s doing better now. The no sweep no mop zones on the map needs to be set for smaller areas but it’s a good machine

Pros: Easy to setup. Easy to schedule. Easy to fill and empty water reservoirs When running it’s relatively quiet - My 2 dogs and 3 cats do not care about it at all but they do like to follow it around. Cons: Object detection does not include cords. Or dog toys that have ropes Super minor when refilling the clean water the condensation runs off the inside of the lid and down the outside of the unit. I just wipe it off after filling. The crown (libar) will sometimes get stuck on the underside of my counters. The vacuum clean out is heckin’ loud. So schedule it when you’re not sleeping. When creating no go zones it’s significant. I wish I could make the area smaller. I run the vac and mop every night. It completes its task 5 out of 7 nights. The other times it either eats a missed toy with a rope or gets stuck under the counter. It’s not bad but it’s not awful. It’s also pretty big there’s no hiding it - does not bother me but my husband doesn’t like looking at it.

This product is amazing!! The floors always end up looking brand new and gets into every nook and cranny. The base station is the ultimate all in one station. Cleans empty’s refills you name it. Don’t doubt yourself when deciding to buy this product. The app is really easy to use and has a lot of features. Set up was really easy especially with the manual and the large laminated instruction sheet. Comes with lots of extra parts to extend usage. Life has been so much better since our family bought this product.

My first impressions are that this is one impressive robot! It cleans better than any of my previous bots and it’s super easy to use. I do wish there was a text description under most of the buttons in the app, so it’s a little easier to figure out, and that the app had a simple way to choose only vacuuming or vacuum and mop. Other than that I love it!

The Maxim is the best Robot vacuum I have owned and believe me, like most everyone else, I've owned lots of them trying to find one that actually works. The mapping and obstacle avoidance system on the Maxim works very well. It has massive suction power that sucks up anything in it's path. Best of all though is the self washing mop feature. The unit can be set to wash the mop as often as required during cleaning so the mop actually cleans the floor and doesn't just drag around a dirty mop. I definitely highly recommend.

In love with this product! I usually do not leave reviews, but this one deserves one! If you’re skeptical about buying this mop, don’t even think twice. This has a rotating dual mop on the back, which actually cleans the floor and not just drags a microfiber rag and runs through it. It also selfs empties, washes the mop and dries itself. the only thing you need to for maintenance is, refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank. The plus side is that it actually uses a cleaning solution so clean the floor and mop, leaving your floors clean and smelling fresh! Best purchase ive made this year, hands down. My floors never looked clean. If this post sounds like im trying to sell you the mop, well, its the best Deal of the Day purchase on Best Buy!!

Our first bObsweep Maxim arrived damaged. The detergent container on the base station was cracked and leaked, and the bot itself would not map or clean more than a few square inches. We returned the defective unit and ordered a second. It quite honestly exceeded all expectations. It mapped a somewhat complex floor plan with several different surfaces very accurately. It both sweeps and mops very systematically and thoroughly. The app experience is significantly improved and the unit far outperforms our older Pethair Vision Plus (which we were quite happy with, as well).

I recently got a robotic vacuum with a mop, and honestly it’s exceeded all my expectations. It vacuums and mops at the same time, leaving my floors cleaner than any robot I’ve owned before. The app is super intuitive, and I love being able to set no-go zones so it avoids certain areas. It even detects rugs automatically and skips mopping them, which is a huge plus. Maintenance is minimal. I just change the water once over the weekend, and that’s pretty much it. The built-in camera does a great job avoiding cables and obstacles, which feels like a big upgrade from older models. Also, I have a cat (<3), and not only he is totally fine with it, but there’s basically no pet hair left around anymore since I started using it. Highly recommend if you are pet owner. Overall, this has been a game-changer for keeping my floors clean with almost zero effort.

Picked up everything, dog pads, carpet, wires, everything. Died four times in 10 minutes. I really thought with this high dollar robot vac and map I’d be impressed. Also not to mention, no water came out during mopping phase.

I was happy to find the BObsweep at such a great price. I’m impressed with how well it picks up dirt but disappointed that I can still see lines left behind from the mop.

This is such a time saver. I love the features on the app and how it tells you when maintenance is needed. Don’t know how I’ve lived without it!

I recently purchased the Maxim bobSweep Vacuum Mop, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This device has completely simplified my cleaning routine. The combination of vacuuming and mopping in one machine saves me so much time, especially during busy weeks. The suction power is impressive — it easily picks up pet hair, dust, and debris from both hard floors and area rugs. The mopping feature leaves my floors looking fresh without streaks, and I love that I can run both functions in one cycle. It navigates smoothly around furniture and transitions between rooms without any issues. Another big plus is how quiet it is compared to other robotic cleaners I’ve used. Setup was straightforward, and maintenance (emptying the bin and cleaning the pads) is quick and easy. Overall, the Maxim bobSweep Vacuum Mop delivers strong performance, convenience, and great value. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to keep their home clean with minimal effort.

The [Bobsweep Dustin Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum and Mop] is a solid mid-range robot vacuum designed mainly for pet owners and people who want an affordable self-emptying cleaning system. One of its biggest strengths is convenience. It uses LiDAR navigation and mapping technology to move through rooms more efficiently than older random-navigation robot vacuums, and the self-emptying dock reduces how often you need to empty the dustbin manually. It also includes mopping functionality, app controls, scheduling features, and decent suction power for everyday dirt, dust, and pet hair on hard floors. Many users like that it can map rooms quickly and create cleaning zones through the app. RTINGS and several user reviews also praised its room coverage and smart mapping features. ([RTINGS.com][1]) However, the vacuum does have noticeable weaknesses that keep it from competing with premium brands like Roborock or higher-end Roombas. Reviews frequently mention inconsistent obstacle avoidance, with the vacuum sometimes bumping into furniture, getting tangled in cords, or struggling with small objects on the floor. Carpet and pet-hair performance are also mixed. RTINGS noted that it performs poorly with fine debris and pet hair on carpets, sometimes dragging hair around instead of fully picking it up. Several Reddit users also reported navigation problems and docking issues after long-term use. ([RTINGS.com][1]) Overall, the bObsweep Dustin is best for people who want a budget-friendly robot vacuum with smart mapping and self-emptying features without paying flagship prices. It works best in homes with mostly hard flooring and relatively uncluttered spaces. If your home has lots of thick carpet, pet hair buildup, cords, toys, or obstacles, you may find its navigation and cleaning performance frustrating over time. For the price, though, many buyers still feel it offers good value and useful automation for everyday maintenance cleaning.

I have had my Bobsweep Maxim for one week and I am very satisfied with it. It was very easy to set up the Bobsweep and to connect to the internet and app. The vacuum is very quiet and does a great job cleaning. I bought this robot to replace my Roomba S9+. So far, I much prefer the Bobsweep Maxim. I especially love the mapping, the long battery life, and the extended arm sweeper. The Maxim has not gotten stuck at all. The mopping feature works well. The vacuum + base is very convenient, easy-to-use, and effective. Great product.

I’ve had a robot vacuum with both vacuum and mop features for a couple years now, and it has been a massive timesaver. It doesn’t quite hit the quality of hand cleaning, but it keeps a pretty good baseline clean if run at standard intervals, like twice a week. Unfortunately, my prior Robot has done its duty well enough for long enough but now needs to be replaced. I decided to try out a different brand, so I grabbed a bObsweep Maxim All-in-One. Pros: - Easy to follow setup instructions with a physical laminated info card! - App controls are simple and straightforward. - Mapping function works well. - Comes with multiple spare parts. Cons: - Mop heads come off when running over objects. - Default cleaning settings leave quite a bit on the floor. Setup: I was impressed with how thoughtful bObsweep was in organizing the packaging for the Maxim Robot, each part was fit into 1 of 4 clearly labeled boxes. A detailed laminated instruction sheet was included, outlining each part and providing guided steps for setup of the Maxim in both English and French. Included in the box is the Maxim robot vacuum & mop unit, charging station that also houses the clean & dirty water tanks and dustbin, spare parts (2x side brush, dust bag, filter, 2x different types of mop heads), 2x cleaning solutions, and maintenance tools. Everything is very clearly labeled in the packages; I always knew what I was opening. First steps included setting up the Charging Station; adding the provided cleaning solution and filling up the Clean Water tank, just remember to remove the silicone packs before adding water. There is already a pre-installed dust bag, plus a spare included. Next is setting up the Maxim robot by removing all the packing tape and foam, then installing the side brush and mops, which snap on easily. Once that is complete, you can either place the Maxim in the charging station or have it return home on its own by pressing Go button to turn it on and then the Charge button to send it to the charging station. The last step in the guided setup is to connect the Maxim to the Wi-Fi using the bObsweep app. The hardest part of setup was getting the product boxes out of the main box, otherwise unpacking and setup was easy thanks to the clear instructions. App: I’m one for keeping it simple, and bObsweep keeps it simple with the app. Simply create an account or login, then select add bot and follow the instructions. I did encounter a minor issue with the app not refreshing back to the home page after successfully adding the Maxim. But once I closed the app and reopened it, the app opened right into the Maxim Robots control tab. The control page for the Robot reminds me of a digital remote control, big and clearly labeled buttons. At the top of the Device page is the current status with the current task, nickname for your device, model, and battery level. The main buttons are Wash, Dry, Wet On/Off, Go/Stop, Charge, and Empty. I found the controls to be self-explanatory in that each button is the command to tell the robot what you want it to do. I found the app to be very responsive and quick, though if the Robot is in the middle of an operation, you must hit Stop and wait for the task to stop before it will allow you to give it another command. If you’re going to change anything in the app, I would recommend going to Bot Settings Cleaning Preferences to adjust the default Vacuum Power and Mop Intensity, as these are defaulted to low and light. Additionally, I would suggest enabling the EdgeReach for the Side Brush and Mop, as this allows the Robot to reach out and get the edges with the side brush and mop while cleaning. I also enabled Auto-Resume so that the Robot would resume cleaning if it needed to stop to charge in the middle of a job. The App also allows you to modify the Map, setting up zones for avoidance or vacuum only, to help avoid any obstacles the Robot might encounter. Additionally, scheduled cleanings can be set with specific functionality like vacuum suction strength or mop intensity. Beyond that are details about the historical runs, which helps identify the last time it cleaned, the duration and area covered, and any issues that were encountered. Navigation & Mapping: I was pleasantly surprised by how accurate the self-mapping functionality was for the Maxim Robot; it was able to clearly map out our floor plan while identifying walls, furniture, and objects. I like that bObSweep has the robot update the mapping each run, as we often move things around or place a temporary item down that then gets added to a mapping incorrectly. Navigation was good, I only had to rescue the Maxim 2 out of 6 runs so far, with both times due to the mop heads coming off as it went over an object that caught the mop heads. Both cases were really my own fault as I hadn’t setup no mop zones on the front-entry rug and an avoid zone on the dog food/water mat. In both cases, all I had to do was reattach the mop pad then press go and the robot continued cleaning. After I setup a no mop zone for the front-entry rug and an avoid zone around the dog’s bowls, there were no more accidents. Cleaning: For context, my main floor has all hardwood with a thick 10ft by 8ft front-entry rug to catch all the dirt when people come in and multiple pieces of furniture the robot must avoid. By no means is it a small and simple room setup, as the layout often changes week to week with different events or items being brought in. It is quite the test for any robot vacuum. The default cleaning settings were very underwhelming, leaving the edges under the counters and furniture uncleaned along with larger pieces of debris on the floor. Checking the settings after the first run of cleaning, I found the Suction Power and Mop Intensity set to Low. Bumping these up to their maximum greatly improved the quality of the cleaning results, even just increasing to medium was a far better result over the default Low settings. I’m not sure if that was by design or just an accident, but I would not recommend leaving the default settings based on the results I had. Additionally, enabling the EdgeReach and Auto-Resume allow the Maxim to reach the corners it previously missed and resume cleaning after having to return for charging midsession due to low battery. The following results were much better, and a vast improvement over our old robot vacuum. I liked the addition of a cleaner solution to the Robots mopping, as this left the floors cleaner than with just water, such as in the kitchen where sticky spills would need to be wiped up with a towel. The Maxim cleared up most of it with ease on the higher settings. The following runs were all successful, with the Maxim needing to run 2 times for each job due to running out of juice about halfway through. I didn’t mind this at all as I just setup a schedule and let the Robot do its thing. Maintenance: Maintenance will primarily be refilling and emptying the water tanks or detangling one of the brushes. I’ve not used the Maxim enough to get a full idea of how often I’ll need to refill and empty the water tanks but based on our scheduled cleanings, I’d guess we’ll have to refill the clean water every 2.5-3 weeks and empty the dirty water monthly. As for brush detangling, the included tool will be very helpful at cutting through any hair caught up in the brushes (edge brush or main brush). There is an air filter on the top of the Maxim, under a magnetic cover that will need to be replaced, I’m guessing when the app notifies you of it. Same with the dust bin bag in the Charging Station, though the bag is large so I’m guessing it will take about a year to fill for us. Though it could be sooner based on usage and how much is picked up each cleaning. Conclusion: If you’re looking for a Robot Vacuum and Mop, then the Maxim All-in-One Vacuum & Mop by bObsweep is a great consideration. The setup is easy with the included detailed instructions, an easy-to-use app with multiple cleaning options and the power to clean while reaching those corners and edges. It will an initial run or two to get the floor map down and set zones for avoidance or vacuum only, while also adjusting the default cleaning settings to get better results. Overall, I really like the results so far and will be keeping it on a bi-weekly schedule going forward!

The Bobsweep Maxim is the current flagship model with the lineup offering an all-in-one experience with vacuum/mop capability and self maintaining capability. This design is great for those who have multiple floor types or are looking for regular cleaning without having to maintain the robot outside of occasional refill/emptying of the water tank or change of bag. Having used all-in-one robot vacuums for the last several years, the Maxim has a couple nice features but doesn’t offer the flagship experience like some others. It does provide a value option. In The Box: - Robot - All-In-One Docking Station - Accessories (Brushes, Mop Pads, Filter, Bag) - Manuals Setup: Out of the box, it takes about 10 minutes to get the unit physically set up and start the process of pairing to the app. The robot requires installing the side bristle brush and mop pads. These simply snap on or are magnetic. It comes with two sets of mop pads, one regular duty, one heavy duty. The dock itself comes ready to go outside of taking the moisture packs out of the tanks and installing the plastic ramp, which simply clicks into place. The dock itself is sizable, so finding a spot suitable within your home may be the most challenging part. Once the dock is plugged in, you’ll push the robot onto the dock manually so start the pairing process within the app. Once powered on, speaker quality on the robot sounds terrible. After you download the Bobsweep app, you’ll need to create an account (if you don’t have one) and pair the robot to your wifi network. The app will walk you through the entire process including activating pairing mode on the robot if it doesn’t do so automatically. This process takes only a few minutes and no software updates were required for my setup. Once you let the robot charge for a couple hours, fill the water tank, you’re ready to start cleaning. Usage: As will all robot vacuums, I would highly recommend picking up the areas you want mapped for the first run. This will provide a good “base” map for the robot to work off of over time. There is an option within the app to quickly map the space before it’s first full clean, otherwise, it will map as it goes. This model uses LiDAR + Quantum SLAM® + VisiOn™ Camera which offers the best performance for mapping rooms but also detecting obstacles. It has automatic surface detection which means it will lift the mopping pads when it detects carpet or surfaces that shouldn’t be cleaned with mops. You can change cleaning methods in the app if you only want to vacuum the entire floor instead of mop + vacuum. After running the first cleaning session, it appeared to detect all surface types accurately although with some area rugs, it would partially mop the edges due to the transition between carpet and LVP. The accuracy of surface types could be improved. The LIDAR sensor on the top does stick up slightly from the main assembly but it DOES fit under my kitchen cabinets kickplate and goes under furniture that is roughly 4.25” tall or greater. The robot has complete adjustability within the app for mopping and vacuuming performance. One of the best features is the edge reach for both the vacuum and mop. This allows the robot to clean corners and edges better than some other models. This feature is disabled by default but I would recommend trying it and seeing if it works for you. Having the mop run along the baseboards means it is able to clean much closer than other models I have tested that leave a little gap untouched. Both the clean water and dirty water tanks hold a sufficient amount of water. The Maxim was able to easily do a full clean on one charge for roughly 1,300 sq.ft. of mapped area but will auto clean itself partway through depending on your settings. When it comes to obstacle or object detection, the Maxim does fairly well. It has settings to add sensitivity for careful operation but leaving it on the normal settings proved to be enough as it wasn’t bumping into too many walls, furniture, or items left on the floor. It didn’t do well against open stair balusters as it tried to keep turning into them the entire way but once it got back to the wall, it operated as normal. It didn’t seem to suck up cords left on the floor but I tried to keep things fairly tidy. It pulled up some area rug corners when traveling over them but hasn’t gotten stuck. Pros: - Self Cleaning Mop + Vacuum - Auto Dry Mop (Fairly Quiet!) - Extendable Arms (Brush & Mop) - LIDAR Mapping + Camera Object Detection Cons: - Mapping Not As Precise (App Map + Surfaces Types) - App Not Intuitive - Speaker Quality Overall: The Bobsweep Maxim offers all of the features that you would expect in a flagship robot vacuum cleaner, however, its software and performance isn’t quite up to the same levels as some other brands. The cleaning performance seems sufficient with 22,000kPa vacuum suction and mopping abilities but the navigation in home and app features could be improved for a better user experience. I enjoy how quiet the mop drying feature is compared to some others I have tested which makes it tolerable in common spaces such as living or dining rooms. Overall, I would recommend the Maxim if you’re looking for flagship features on a budget.

Review of BoBsweep Maxim The latest Maxim version out of box feel and looks sturdy with clean look honoring the type of device is. It has a comprehensive features to automate the home cleaning. It mob and vacuum all in a single device with rich features from its applications for controlling and monitoring. First connecting to the App and WiFi is not very different from other type of devices and same type of vacuum. Charging in from zero state of battery, it takes about 3 hours as per the test. Then based on how is setup for preference of level of cleaning, and coverage of the space, it automatically start following its rule. Now, some specifications. The package includes: 1. Maxim 2. All-in-one charging station 3 . Charging station ramp 4 . Spare dust bag 5 . Side brushes X2 6 . Cleaning tool 7 . Spare filter 8 . Mop attachments X2 9 . Reusable microfiber mops X2 10. Reusable heavy-duty mops X2 11. Warranty Card 12. Owner's Manual 13. Quick Start Guide On technical aspect, apart of battery charging time mentioned above, its noise decibel is 50dBA according to the brand. To have an idea of it, comparing to home kitchen appliance dishwasher, the most silent dishwasher goes between 37dBA to 42dBA. Then the area mapping function comes handy to know first where has been cleaned, and secondly able to vacuum only specific space based on a need without having to vacuum entire house by default. Its option for self cleaning mode helps to automate the process of maintenance at some level. Based on the usage, I still had to clean its brush and the bin for the optimal performance. But I find it very useful that I have to perform manual aspect less frequently as the bins are reasonably big, size of about 1 gallon of capacity. And about half size for dust bag. On cleaning aspect as the core of function, it does as per the design. Strong suction (22,000 pa) and the brush cover the corner edges as using three directional brushes. The mopping works well as it does cover the necessary level of how much of water to be used. Few aspects that I wish it were different: 1. Filter bag dependency. This requires to replace it once it is full of dust. Having spent what it cost, depending on additional expense to replace the filter I find a bit odd. 2. The charging time. If it is used for a house that requires enough running time but the full battery doesn’t support, the vacuum needs to go back to charge and continue once it is fully charged after 3 to 4 hours. Considering the latest tech to create what is Maxim, and in the existence of EV Auto charger that can be charged in 15 min or so, even 30 min used as reference to charge 80%, 3 to 4 hours of charging for smaller device lags feels odd it is not yet close to it. The latest Maxim All in One offer handful cleaning feature and able to automate home cleaning experience. It is the best in terms of its suction power, and dual mode of cleaning with self maintenance. Although for its best performance still requires manual intervention, still is much less than what would without it.

Upon unboxing the bObsweep Maxim, the first thing I noticed is you get an additional set of everything from the brush, the mop heads, the cleaning solution, filter, and dust bag. Right off the bat, having this is not only additional points in my book, but it allows for you to further use the device out of the box. Speaking of the box, it is nicely packed with labels 1 through 4. The fourth box is actually hidden inside the charging dock. The only assembly you need to do is snap on the charging ramp, the brush, and the two mop heads. Everything else is already pre-installed. This has a camera to help with mapping and object detection, and if you enable it, there is a notification in the app that says it won't be stored in the cloud. The filtering bags are lined with charcoal to help with odor. We have two poodles. They've never been a problem in terms of odor, but I'm glad that this feature is included. The battery itself looks like it was pre-charged to about 82%. The first cleaning session lasted seven minutes and covered 139 square feet. Battery usage, I believe, was around 8%. Not bad, but this is our loft and it's vinyl floors and not many obstacles. I did notice it stopped by the stairs and wasn't sure why it did it, but I got back on the app and hit the play button, and it continued. In terms of cleaning, I feel that it does a very good job. Picks up dog hair and cleans up the floor nicely. After its cleaning session, it automatically goes back to the charging station and does its own cleaning process and charges up again. This part right here is actually not as loud as other robot vacuums I've tried, so I could appreciate that. There are two things I've noticed that probably need improvement: Firstly, the pairing process: I had a little bit of difficulty pairing it to my Wi-Fi and my phone. The part where it searches for the vacuum, it will detect it, but if there are any issues and you try to do it again, the robot vacuum disappears from the app. It does not detect it, so you have to do the entire process all over again. I have a dedicated Wi-Fi network for IoT devices, and my phone is on my main Wi-Fi. I think what would help is if you set your phone to the Wi-Fi network that will be used by the robot vacuum. There is a way to manually type in the SSID and password, but I kept running into issues. Second, I think the app UI itself, while it's easy to use, could use a better design. It's not a big deal, but I figured I'd mention it. It is still usable. You can also set cleaning schedules and have a lot of options from day and time location of the house, if you have multiple rooms. It'll have the map overlay where you could select different areas. You can set to only use vacuum or vacuum and mop. The vacuum power: low, medium, and high and a name for the schedule. Overall, I really like this vacuum. It does a good job at cleaning.
