Added before your drywall is installed, this fire rated backbox is used to reduce sound transmission between floors in your home. As an example, very useful if you tend to have parties in the kitchen when the baby's room is one floor above. Compatible with all CI300 and CI600 in-ceiling models. Must be used with a matching PreMountKit. See below for more information.

A: We do not manufacture a retrofittable back box for the CCM662. The only products that we make which include a retrofittable back box would include the CCM7.3, CCM7.4, CCM7.5 or the CCM632.
