Added before your drywall is installed, this fire rated backbox is used to reduce sound transmission between floors in your home. As an example, very useful if you tend to have parties in the kitchen when the baby's room is one floor above. Compatible with all CI300 and CI600 in-ceiling models. Must be used with a matching PreMountKit. See below for more information.

Designed for Bowers & Wilkins CI 600 Series and CI 300 Series in-ceiling speakers
Fits any CCM model in the CI 300, CI 600 or CCM7.5S2. Must be used with a PMK pre-mount kit (sold separately).
Improves audio performance
The rigid metal enclosure tightens bass performance for a cleaner sound.
Meets fire safety building regulations
Improves home safety.
Required Pre Mount Kit
For CCM66x or CCM36x models use PMK C6. For CCM68x or CCM38x models use PMK C8.
