The Braun Clean and Renew is one of my favorite reasons for choosing a Braun shaver. Simply insert the Braun into the sculpted cradle & push a button. That's it! Your shaver charges, cleans & lubricates the blades. It smells fresh for your next use. Lubricating the blades extends their life so you get a close shave longer. Best Buy offers these in a 3-pack. This is a very economical way to buy them. Hint: When you install a new cartridge, pull the protective cover tab off & install it on the old cartridge before disposing of it. This will eliminate the possibility of spilling any liquid!

I wouldn't personally own this razor without it as this helps to clean the razor after it's been on your face. I like to keep my grooming items clean, this is a very much appreciated item to help me do that for sure. Depending on how much you use the cleaner, it lasted me 20-30 days per cartage with 1 time a day cleaning.

After I shave with the Braun 9 I remove the shaver head and rinse it in hot water, then blow it dry and gently wipe with a towel. I also slightly rinse the plastic snap holder on the shaver and dry that. Then I put the shaver into the charging-cleaning holder and run it thru a clean cycle. One press of the front button washes the shaver head and drys it. Simple easy peasy. The liquid cleaning solution also contains a slight amount of oderless lube product that lubes the blades and keeps them working smoothly. After the clean cycle is done the charging-cleaning holder automatically recharges the lithium battery. Your good to go. When it's ALL done the charge cycle stops and the Braun 9 sits quietly for tomorrows shave.

This is something that should be purchased with every Braun shaver that has the charging/cleaning station. It’s a great price and all you do is slip it in the bottom and the rest is a push of a button to clean your razor. Get it!

If you shave with a Braun razor you need to use the clean and renew. I use it after every shave and it cleans so well that I feel like I have a new razor for my next shave. The 3 pack is the better value for them.

My husband has had the braun shaver for a number of years. It works very well and this cleaner has kept it functioning very well. I definitely recommend the shaver and this cleaner.

I got my first braun razor with a washing station 5 years ago. Why would I ever spend $5/mo for the washing cartridge? Good thing they included one for free, because I found out by having a clean and closer cutting shave than without using the cleaning station. That made it worth the expense for me. And, I tried a few liquids to refill the cartridge, but, DON'T DO IT!! Dollar Store electric shave melted the razor's plastic and rubbing alcohol did not clean out the hair dust from the blades. The liquid in the cartridge is what it takes to make the washing station keep your razor clean.

These cartridges are great and last just as ong as the original cleaning solution. They are easy to replace as well.

I use this with my Series 7 razor. The razor came with one cartridge, and I used it daily and it was gone after about 45 days. I came to realize that it is not necessary to clean the razor daily. My new process is that I remove the cutter head after each shave, shake out any hair, then rinse. I leave the two parts separate to dry. Once a week, I take the head off, shake the hair out, but do not rinse the razor. On this day, I put the razor back together again, and place in the cleaning/charging station to run through the cycle. Using this process, to minimize the hair pieces that get into the fluid, and to reduce the product consumption should allow each cartridge to last a very long time. The razor does come with a hygiene indicator, but as far as I can tell, it is just an indicator of how many times the razor has been used since running through the cleaner. I feel that my interim cleaning processes is adequate to keep the razor clean. If you are thinking, why use the solution at all, I think it is because that added benefit of cleaning and lubricating the cutter head.

The three pack of cleaning/lubricating solution comes in a package from Braun Shavers. Each unit is built to slide into the bottom and back of a Braun shaving system maintenance unit. The module seems to last about one month. At that time it has been sufficiently used to be removed, replaced with a new module, and then appropriately discarded. In addition to cleaning and lubricating the shaver head, the unit determines how much cleaning is needed and how much recharging the shaver requires. Be sure to review the instruction materials to see which model of shaver you have and that it comes with the correct maintenance cleaning unit.

Typically the Braun - Clean and Renew Cartridges come packaged two to a package. That means I have to rebuy another package too frequently and the price is higher. The three-pack is more cost effective and cheaper at Best Buy than most other stores; and I don't have to buy them as often.
