I set out to replace my basic shaver that I use for travel. This model was a little larger than I wanted but it was very comfortable to hold and use. I t gave an excellent shave and held the charge for 2 1/2 weeks without deteriorating. I've been so happy with the results that I plan on switching from razor to shaver which will result in no more nicks. Only have 2 complaints. Can't believe it doesn't have a built in trimmer and that they were too cheap to include a brush for cleaning.

I bought this shaver at a local Best buy thinking I would use it as a temporary replacement for an aging and very expensive Norelco shaver I have been using for nearly three years. This basic, Braun shaver has truly exceeded my expectations for a $40 product! It not only provides a close clean shave, nearly emulating that of a razor with leather, Etc, the shave is very comfortable. The shaver is easy to clean, and the rechargeable battery provides six to eight complete shaves before needing to be recharged. If there is any drawback at all, which didn't bother me, it does not have a pop-up trimmer. Most people buy an electric shaver to get a close, comfortable and convenient shave, which this provides for 1/5 to 1/7 of the cost of some of the more expensive units with all of the bells and whistles. A great find!

Works fine, was what I expected for the low price. Like most electric shavers I’ve used it takes many passes to get all the whiskers off. Lots of vibration goes into your hand and arm, too. But I like the cordless function, and the battery lasts a long time. Easy to clean, too. Good cordless razor for the price.

Reliable shaver. Good price. NO flip out for sideburns. Miss that.

Very nice shaver used to a rotary. This shaver does a nice job it has a very close shave doesn’t pull it your whiskers and charges very fast also is waterproof easy cleanup.

This shaver cuts great is easy to use and can be used in the shower. Ideal for both men and women

I had owned a Braun 3000 series shaver for 35 years! It shaved close. Was easy to clean and maintain. At some point tried a Remington and was very dissatisfied so decided that I would stick with Braun. It's a reliable brand. And it lasted 35 years! So it is disappointing to find that this particular Braun model not perform as well. It simply does not shave as close as the previous model I had. This model, 300s, is their base model so it's possible that the higher priced ones produce a better shave.

I was looking to replace my old electric so, I did a couple of online searches. I decided this would work for me. The cost is low, and if it only lasts a couple of years, I can recycle it and go buy another. There is no sideburn trimmer, I thought I would miss it, but I do. The cost outweighed the need, so I work around it.

This is my first ever "foiled" electric shave and I have nothing but praise for it. I was gong to get one of the more expensive models but decided to give this one a try first and if it lasts more than a year, I may "move up". So far I've seen no need to move up because this little razor treats my face like a mother caresses her baby. It works as advertised and that means it gets the job done on my face without doing a job on my face! I very much recommend this razor! And since it's for me, I bought the protection warranty. Like the razor, it was reasonably priced so that even if I don't ever need it, it's there to give me peace of mind. Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

It is a good shaver for the price, Has no problem cutting longer hairs.

I had surgery on my right shoulder and I use a razor blade to shave,since I am right handed I had to come up with an option to shave. The Braun Series 3 does what I need it to do.I was not going to spend a whole bunch of money on a shaver I might only use for 2/3 months. The Braun shaver was reasonably priced and it meets my needs

This foil works good makes it easy for me when I have to shave quickly and cut the left behind hairs on the face. Works excellent as well as a time saver!
