Solid, High Quality Shaver. Feels natural when using, with Good Materials. It conveniently stores in the a Stand making Easy to Charge and Clean. It has gauge on the bottom indicating the level of Clean and Charge. It shaves very Well, leaving smooth Skin. The only thing I found was that it took a couple of multi- direction passes under my Chin and Neck to achieve the same overall smoothness. It also has an easy to use switch to open the pop up Trimmer. I do not have enough Mileage on it to replace the cleaning solution or the replaceable head. This is a High end product, although not Inexpensive, but I would definitely buy it again.

Hello I have owned this product for about 2 years now. I love it battery life is still amazing. Front trimmer is easy to use and being in the front of this foil shaver it easier to see what your doing. The shaver will even tell you when to replace the shaving head. You will get about 18 months if your only shaving your face. But if your like me and shaver your head to keep your high and tight looking fresh everyday. I get about 8 months and that ok with me. The shaver unit will also tell the cleaning station how dirty it is. As well tell you when you need to replace your cleaning cartridge. Bruising it out before placing it in the cleaning station helps allot.

The Braun series 7 is probably the best electric razor I've ever used. It's a bit pricey I admit, but with the cost of razor blades being so ridiculous these days this is well worth the investment. I love that it's self cleaning, and the indicator on the shaver lets you know when it's time to put it in the cleaner. It's still not quite as quick as using a razor, but it's wet/dry so I can use it while in the shower if I want to.

I left my old Braun behind on a vacation, so had to get a replacement. This is a very good razor, the shave is very close and it is easier to hold due to being less wide than my old one. The only thing I do not like is the rough cut trimmer is narrow, and also the way it pops out from the body of the razor at a 90 degree angle - this makes it nearly impossible to use to detail my goatee, as the shaver is in the way to see around and is awkward to use.

This thing is built like a piece of art. Very nice build quality and unusually complex for something that, for the casual user like me, seems like a simple device. I've never put much thought into a shaver before, but using the Braun has made me rethink much of what I used to know about shaving, which was admittedly not much. In truth, I didn't need to replace my old shaver, a trusty bare-bones Norelco. In service for close to ten years, the battery miraculously still holds a charge, and it still provides a close shave. I think I bought the Braun in a moment of weakness, having steered myself toward the shaving aisle on a whim after buying the laptop I'm now typing on. Having used the Series 7 for over a month now, I can attest to the fact that I am indeed enjoying a superior shave, albeit only slightly. I think the most noticeable improvement for me is the amount of time I spend shaving, when I feel like shaving. Previously, the Norelco's dull blades resulted in a 5-10 minute shave session depending on how long I'd gone without a trim. The Braun is a lawnmower to my Norelco's kiddie scissors, powering through my coarse facial hair like a retired circus elephant attacking the peanut barrel. The sheer abundance of features, including the curvy cleaning stand which is equipped with computerized debris sensors and a replaceable liquid alcohol-based cleaning solution underscores the frivolities packed into the unit to the casual shaver like me. You see, I was never a blade guy. I never bought a can of shaving cream or an expensive set of refills in my life. My little Norelco got me through college and then some, and I actually hate shaving. The best thing about the Braun 7 Series is that it is German, like a 7-series BMW, but it's not as expensive. Also, it makes shaving less annoying, much faster, and gives you something to listen to in the shower while it's cleaning itself.

I recently decided to shave off my beard because it was getting too gray. I read reviews online about various electric shavers and picked this one. It's relatively quiet and the controls are easy to use. It gives me a smooth shave as long as I go over my face twice - first with swivel head free then with it locked. Battery life is excellent - I am on vacation for last 2 weeks and battery indicator states it's fully charged. You won't regret buying this shaver.

I was torn between this shaver and the 9 series. I ultimately landed on the 7 because it was slightly cheaper than the 9 and the cartridges are also cheaper. The shaving on this is really great. It gets very close to my skin and my shave lasts almost all day (I get a 5:00 shadow real bad). I used to use a higher end rotary shaver, and this one does a far better job. The same tough spots are tough with this razor, but it takes only two passes to cut those stubborn hairs. The rotary razor couldn't cut it. I would definitely recommend this shaver.

I have been looking for a razor for a while that could give me a nice close shave without having to exert a ton of energy. I thought I found it with a Philips Norelco that was in the same price range as this razor. I loved all its features and the cleaning system. Problem was, the razor head kept popping off and after only 6 months, it was pretty much useless. I was surprised that there weren't more reviews calling that out, which is why I didn't know about that fault in it. This razor is perfect for me. The cleaning system is great as well. I haven't tried using it with shaving cream yet, mainly because I haven't needed a reason to try. It is pricey, but considering I expect to keep this for years, it's worth it. I've always had Norelco razors, but I may be sticking with Braun from now on.

I looked after a variety of differnt razors on line and in store. I decided based on reviews and reputation I would try the series 7 razor from Braun. The razor is made in Germany and it is a very strong well built razor. Overall it gives an good shave. The one issue I have is my neck. The razor does not shave that area as well as I would like. It takes much longer to shave the neck and get all the hairs than it should. On the plus side the cleaning system is very good. I would have a hard time recommending this razor when you look at the price and the fact it doesn’t do a great job on my neck area.

Love the Braun series 7. This product is amazing and the one I decided to stick with. I spent the year trying the following; Panasonic Arc 3 and 5, Braun Series 3,5,7,9, Philips 5700, 7500, 9700 and 9000 prestige. After spending 2 weeks with each I can say at least for me the Series 7 is the best even though it's what 18 years old now design wise. The Arc 3 was cheaper and maybe a little closer but left a insane amount of neck hair behind, making it impossiple to get a good shave. The Arc 5 worked great if you like red face from so much irritation, it did get a close baby face shave but hurt in the process. The Braun series 3 was okay but like the Arc 3 left a lot behind. The Series 5 is alot like the Series 7 and definitely looks better design wise and newer but vibrates like crazy and is loud, and shave quality is less than that of the Series 7. The Braun series 9 is a amazing shaver, works great and gets most of everything but it's not better enough than the 7 for the price difference. The Philips shavers we're also nice but not as close as the foil shavers. They also causes more irritation. If you do want a rotary shaver I'd go with the 9700 Philips though, cuts close and misses hardly anything, you can sometimes get on sell for a good price. The 9000 prestige from Philips doesn't really shave better than the 9700 and it doesn't come with a cleaning system. Okay now back to the series 7, this thing is a beast, it may take a few passes but it gets everything, it causes no irritation and gets close, the cleaning system and case are amazing. The only negative I have about it is the outdated design and display. But this shaver is a 10/10 for what it's made for. I could not recommend more.

By far, this is the best Electric Razor I’ve ever owned. This razor has a close shave as well as being super easy to handle and the ability to change the rechargeable batteries with a cleaning/charging station. If you need a new razor, don’t skimp out on the price, this razor is well worth it.

I haven't used an electric razor in a long time been using disposables. I got the 7 series recently and I'll tell you what it gets almost as close to skin as my disposable razors!!! This razor does a great job and does not irritate skin at all. I think me and this series 7 are gonna be friends for a loooooong time!

I have used this the Series 5 and 3 and the Panasonic Arc 5. This and the Arc 5 are very close when it comes to shave quality. The Braun 7 seems to do better dry while the Arc 5 is better for wet shaving. This Razors speed settings are kinda a gimmick. But it shaves amazingly close and is definitely more smooth than the Arc 5. The Arc 5 may get a bit closer but this is way more smooth. I have sensitive skin so that's more important to me. I also have thick facial hair growth, I'm in the military and definitely have to shave everyday. But this shaver does amazing. You won't regret it. Also the cleaning system is amazing. I had to manually clean the Arc 5, but the cleaning system is definitely a time saver in the morning. All in all this is a amazing shaver.

I bought this shaver for my husband and two grown sons. All three loved it. All stated it was easy to use and easy to charge. My husband is a full face shave. My sons have beards. They say this is great for trim. One son even shaved his beard because he wanted to see the results of the shaver. He loved it and SO DID I.

Great shaver... works as advertised. The self cleaning feature is a definite plus.

The Braun series 5 shaves the face as close as the series 7 HOWEVER , the choice of different settings is cool if you also shave areas . The floating head lockout workers a bit better and feels more secure then the series 5 . That is probably do to just one solid lock out position ( which i have found to be sufficient, ) on the series 7. The series 5 has multiple lock out possibilities unfortunately on the series 5 none lock out solid. The battery last as advertised. i cannot get mine to work when the cord is plugged in . It seams to work fine on the internal batteries . If cost is not a factor and you think that you need all of the bells and whistles then, the series 7 wet and dry is for you . The series 5 shaves as close and the quality of the shave is as good as the series 7. Save some bucks and purchase a series 5 . What you will get is a great shave and you really don't need multiple cutting speeds ( My series 7 is set at high for the duration ).

Excellent shaver and cleaning system. My only negative comment is it does not have a trimmer. I have had many wet dry shavers over the years and this cuts as close as any I have had. I hope it holds up long term. Highly recommend for now.

This is my first electric shaver and very easy to use. I was surprised to get a better result than using my razor, holds good charge , I take it for my travel and it's quick and no irritation..
