I feel the ink cartridges should be good for at least a year. This one was hard to find so I kept it. I will be checking on an online site recommended by an acquaintance.

If you need save in your regular copies or prints, its better buy XXL size.

HIGH capacity Brother XXL black in cartridge. Works as it shoul d. Never had any printing issues w/ genuine Brother ink cartridges. Had a bad experience with refilled cartridges purchased online; never again.
