It's ink, it makes the printer work, and it's expensive. It's expensive everywhere but at least best buy had some left. Not sure how long it will last, haven't had much luck with Brother printers.

Iam not happy with the amount of yellow ink that i purchased! I bought it last month and barely used the yellow as mostly black i use and it says its good for 200 pages of color!! No its not,it says iam low on yellow and it hasnt been even a month and do not use it much so how much genuine ink is there in it really? Very disappointing

I tried to give it a go with these standard pack and surprisingly it did last longer than I expected although if you can find the high yield LC3013 is a better Bang for your buck.

Not only do they charge a huge mark up to begin with, but the yield per cartridge was not as accurate as promoted. Good quality ink (like practically every company because it’s just ink) but it is over priced and the advertised yield is suspect. Of course, it could I could be wrong, but I’m replacing the 200 page ink cartridges more than my 200 white letter pages packets.

Hello, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.

Any ink we purchase that is official brother brand does not seem to last. One good this is that they work great as long as you have ink.

Brother needs to make more options available for their ink cartridges. it would be nice if there was a pack with all the colors and the black ink that was high-yield. Now, I understand that they have their subscription services where you can get ink replenished and maybe that's the reason why they make the options limited, but someone such as myself, who doesn't do a whole lot of printing, would like to be able to get a solution that would last me for a while before I need to get a refill.

I like the price for my budget, but wish the ink lasted longer than 100 pages. Even when I purchase Brother LC3013 3pk. of ink, the ink doesn't last very long to print more than 200 pages, if that much! Also, please note, the printer that I have does NOT print in black ink only with a full black ink cartridge without having plenty of color ink.

Hello Felipe, I understand you had to shake your ink cartridge in order for it to print. The color cartridges do not need to be shaken. If the unit was not printing a particular color, we advise for you to perform cleanings. I do not use the ink colors at the same rate, but I have to buy a 3-pack. I know this is not your fault, but it would be nice if we could buy individual colors separately.

The only thing is you have to buy another box so fast bc yellow doesn't last very long. I have many of the other colors bc I always have to continue to buy the bundle for yellow. Cannot purchase just yellow color.

I am sure the ink works just fine however I have had nothing but problems with the printer and it only prints out blank pages even with new cartridges.
