I took it back and the salesman said it was too late to do any thing. If I was reviewing the Geek Agent Thomas ,I would give him 5 STARS, He is wonderful to work with. Takes the time to explain to me what he is doing and is always extremely polite. You are lucky to have him. I like to look at your appliances, and as of the last six times I have been in your store I have not encountered one sales person who knew anything about any of them. I was in sales my whole life. Put me on commission and i'll sell anything! There is lots to say about a professional salesman.

I think these cartridges are: 1) over-priced; 2) the toner evaporates very quickly when not in use and does not last long. Unfortunately, the manufacturer(Brother) and some 3rd party companies offer these. I've tried the 3rd party version and it's just as bad. I only recommend these if you want a toner cartridge that will fit and work without any problem.

These cartridges are programmed to read empty after a set amount of time even though you can see they are full through the clear plastic part of the cartridges. I bought these even though my printing needs were low and when I finally needed to print the printer read all three were empty. Im sure all home printer cartridges are shady like this. Avoid unless you are a student or home office and print regularly.

the printer is terrific until you are out of 1 color of ink. It does not matter that the black cartridge is new, you have to replace the one empty color cartridge that you are not going to use. I will not recommend the printer to any one because of the ink. the price of the ink is also ridiculously high. the quality is still the same as any other ink i have used

I was very disappointed to find out that I could not return this ink to the store after buying the wrong one. The ink itself was not open only the box. I was also not advised that this could not be returned so needless to say that was $30 down the drain along with what I had to pay for the correct ink. Very disappointed.

Brother printers malfunction so much. And they force you to buy a lot of ink.

I installed this pack of color cartridge and printed a few pages, mostly in black and white. After that I did not use the printer for a month and half. Then when I wanted to print something all the color ink except for the black were gone! I'm not sure if the ink dried up or it is a technical issue. I called customer service and she told me the cartridge usually prints around 300 pages and that I should buy more ink and monitor it.

I use these inks in my MFC-495CW. This is a nice AIO printer but doesn't even come close to my Dell that died. These 3 packs of ink are nice but they do not last 1/4 as long as my Dell inks! I would recommend looking else for a printer and inks that last longer!
