This cartridge is significantly better than the standard yield cartridge for page life, but it seems a lot shorter than cartridges I've used with other brands of printers. They are fairly affordable compared to some brands I've seen though.

Factory fit to printer. Easy install. Good product

The print quality is very good and cartridges are very easy to install; however, we do not get the number of pages that we are supposed to out of a cartridge. I do a lot of scanning on the printer and according to Brother, every time the printer starts up, print is used, even though I do not print anything. I do not get much use out of the cartridges.

Ok, so it won't light up or do anything cool. It's just plain old ink. Overpriced as it may be, these XL packs with 600 (we hope) pages hidden in these tiny cartridges are pretty critical for those brother printer owning folk like me. My advise: price match the mess out of these things. You can definitely save some $!

It's ink.. I hate that I keep having to buy one. To brother's credit, the black ink lasts for some time

We keep buying black ink for our Brother printer. We never seem to get the full 300 or 600 pages from a cartridge. However, it works really well. I appreciate the quality.

It's great for the price you pay for it but the ink finishes quickly. I doubt weather the stated pages that it prints are really correct, though I have never bothered to count.

Printer ink is low but not out yet. Item bought for that time. Have used in the past.

The advertised on box of 600 pages is overly optimistic. I print almost daily 10 pages per shipment of documents to send FEDEX shipments internationally. Further my wife prints several Word documents daily. Watching what we print on a daily basis it is no where near the 600 page yield. I would consider ourselves average home users.

I like this product quality, I never get the pages of print as stated on the box. I know that someone is very proud of the product the price is on average +$10 more than I can purchase else where . Its not worth the price. I will replace my Brother printer soon for this reason

I purchased this as a replacement and was happy with the ease of putting it in the printer as well as the quality . However , it wasn't long before I started getting ink cartridge low messages . It seems like it should last longer , particularly when I copy only occasionally .

Its a black ink cartridge. They are overpriced. Not bes tbuys fault. In fact best buy had the best price compared to staples at least.

This product gives good black coverage and an average amount of copies produced per cartridge. I'm not sure we get the full 600 pages as the box says though.

Got the same exact ink at another retailer and it only lasted half as long as indicated on box. Learned a valuable lesson, there's sale by dates on everything!!

Good printer ink. We love the printer more than the ink and seem to be constantly refilling it even when ink appears in view find of cartridge.

Cartridge is not printing 600 sheets as stated on the package. More like 450. Some cartridges the lever comes off before installing.
