I already owned a Brother HL-L2360D and was super impressed with the performance of that little machine. For a second location, I also needed scanning ability. Since this model shares TN-660 toner cartridges with my other one and the price was right, I ordered it sight-unseen. I'm very happy with how easy the setup was both for my Mac OSX and Windows 10 machines. As a graphic designer, quality was an important consideration and both of these machines work very well for me.

After going through years of several inkjets, I made the switch to a Brother Laser. I go long periods of not printing, so the inkjets would dry out, require cleaning cycles using up the precious ink. I don't expect that to be an issue with a laser printer. The Brother was so easy to set up, connected quick and easy to my network and the software has worked flawlessly. I will probably get a better quality paper with a smoother finish to improve the density of the print. Some reviews say that you can't email from the printer without a computer. This is not true. Under the Apps section, there is an easy email button, that lets you scan to email. It uses a brother server so you should make sure the subject line says who you are. You can save a custom button that will remember an email address and subject line, so you don't have to type it in everytime. Works great.

I just replaced an older HP laser printer with this printer and it is a fantastic replacement. Double sided printing, scanning, copy function. It is saving me a ton of time from having to use our larger shared printers. Its very fast and fairly quiet. Best thing is that this printer is inexpensive. Two toner cartridges for my old HP cost more than this printer. Toner is very reasonable on this one as well. Love this printer.

This is a little preliminary since I have not put this unit through all its paces over an extended period of time. Nonetheless, it compares well with an earlier Brother MFC that gave great service for 10 years. For duplex printing, scanning, and copying, it is remarkably compact, allowing me to keep it under the desk on a "plant caddy" that makes it available to conveniently roll out when needed. Set up was a breeze working off the quick start page and not having to delve into the manual. Even establishing wireless printing via my iPhone over WiFi was simple with the Brother app. The touch panel command entry is easy to use without excessive steps when setting up choices. The first page print is fast, as is the overall print rate, and the quality is quite good for word processing documents. Downloading an interface for my Mac was no hassle and the interface seems straight forward. Scanning and copying worked simply from the touch panel, again with quickly generated, clean images. Best Buy price matched a low internet price for the original sale, then refunded me money when they put it on sale for an even lower price a few days later--great service and done with a smile! All said, this is an excellent piece of multifunctional office equipment at a bargain price point.

So far it works as expected. Had previous version 7680dw prior. This one was much easier to set up and share on network. Have not used many features yet. Ink cost seems to be comparable or less than previous model but initial toner cartridge was consumed surprisingly quick and print quality was terrible in last 25% of life, curious to see how XL catridge performs. We print several 1000's pgs per month so we need performance and cost considerations. Earlier model worked great for over 4 yrs so time will tell, expect this to be a great value for cost but concerned that toner cost/usage may not do as well as before. Otherwise slightly louder and duplex printing took much longer than expected. Still very happy with initial performance/value in mid volume small business setting.

I bought this printer to replace a similar but aging Brother all-in-one. I have had this new printer for a few weeks now and it has worked flawlessly. Very easy to set up and share on our small network at home. It prints fast and I really like the auto-duplexing. I also like that the printed pages come out flat. Our previous Brother printer left the pages curled at the top and bottom edges. Scanning to the computer work great also.

This is a very quiet and fast laser printer and I could not be happier with this purchase! Easy to set up, quiet to run, support for the product is superb and the footprint is small enough that it fits perfectly in the space I have for it. I have been an avid HP fan but now is the time to switch my loyalties to Brother! Love this printer

I was visiting my in-laws over the holidays and they wanted to get a new all-in-one printer while we were visiting so I could set it up for them and show them how to use it. Super easy setup and I was able to sync it up with their window PCs, macs, ipad and iphones to print wireless without a problem. Setting up the scanning features was really easy as well. Ink lasts forever! Great printer!

I am an IT professional and have been looking for a home printer that also works with all mobile devices (Android and Apple), interfaces with cloud services (DropBox), and save scans to my home server. This printer exceeded that in every aspect. I can scan to a PC, mobile device, or network server. Prints double sided and is very fast. I was willing to pay more for a more rugged SOHO printer, until I found that most businesses do not allow the functionality listed above and therefore only home office grade printers have all of these features. The Brother offered more than HP or Canon and the toner cartridge prices were the most reasonable. HANDS DOWN BEST PRINTER OF 2015.

I wanted a reliable good value printer/scanner/copier for the usual small office tasks. This was a perfect choice. Prints well and consistently without any hiccups whatsoever. The scanner is great doing the one-off single scans from the flatbed, but then the multiple page feeding duplex (both sides of the page) feature is a excellent way to capture and store extra paperwork. Overall a core theme is consistent and reliable. Printers often seem like the weakest link in any setup - jam, software troubles, or just do not behave when all settings indicate otherwise. But this one just plain works all functions well. At times I work away from home for several months at a time and expect to buy another for use at remote locations. Once again, great product that works as expected without issue.

Was looking for a small MFP to replace a Canon that I had that died. Found this one on sale for $149. It did everything the Canon did, including color scanning, and was cheaper to operate, even though the drum costs separately from the toner (Canons have all-in-one cartridge). Very happy.

Great laser printer. Fast on printing and scanning. Love the wireless feature. Had a small issue getting the scan to computer to work, but Brother email support responded to my email within a few days and made sure the issue was resolved.

I have never set up a printer in my life (that's what I've had children for) but this one, even wireless, was not difficult at all. It is a neat little machine, scans, prints, copies, faxes with absolutely no trouble. You can program from the printer or from the control panel on your computer. I've very pleased with this purchase!

I normally use brother printers/ fax machines because they tend to last. I had a cannon that lasted 6 months then developed a ton of issues. I would give it a 5 star rating but the only thing I do not like about it is there is not a setting for it to automatically print faxes. So you either have to know ones coming in or just happen to look at the main screen and see you have faxes pending to be printed. other wise over all great printer/ fax machine.
