Running a server, UPS, or rack PDU on a dedicated 20 amp 120V circuit with a NEMA L5-20R twist-lock receptacle, and the straight-blade cord in the box will not fit? This Cable Leader NEMA L5-20P to IEC C19 power cord locks into the L5-20R outlet with a quarter turn and feeds any device with a C20 inlet, rated 20A 125V so a fully loaded rack server or 2U UPS runs on one cord with no adapter. Built with 12 AWG three-conductor copper wire, a 105C SJT jacket, and fully molded strain-relief ends for racks and network closets. Compatible with any device using an IEC C20 inlet on a 120V 20A supply, including rack servers, UPS units, rack PDUs with a C20 input, network switches, storage arrays, and pro audio amplifiers; it does not fit 5-15R or 5-20R straight-blade wall outlets, 250V L6-20R receptacles, or C14 inlets. UL Listed, RoHS and REACH compliant. Best for: locking 120V 20A power to server, UPS, PDU, and network gear from an L5-20R outlet. Not for: straight-blade wall outlets, 250V circuits, C13/C14 equipment, or loads above 20A.
A straight-blade plug can vibrate or get bumped loose behind a rack; a NEMA L5-20P twist-lock plug turns a quarter turn and stays seated until you release it. This cord runs from a 20 amp 120V L5-20R receptacle to any device with an IEC C20 inlet: rack servers with high-output power supplies, 2U and 3U UPS units, rack PDUs with a C20 input, core network switches, and storage arrays. A 14 AWG cord pushed to 20A on a long run warms up and drops voltage under sustained load; this cord uses 12 gauge (12 AWG) three-conductor copper sized for the full 20 amp rating with margin to spare. The NEMA L5-20P plug is the NEMA L5-20 locking standard for 20A 125V branch circuits, and the IEC C19 end meets the IEC 60320 spec for C20 inlets. 105C SJT jacket, UL Listed, RoHS and REACH compliant.

Quick check: Outlet is a NEMA L5-20R twist-lock - Yes; Device inlet is C20 (fits C19) - Yes; Outlet is a standard 5-15R or 5-20R straight-blade - No; Outlet is a 250V L6-20R or device inlet is C14 - No. For a C14 inlet, use a NEMA 5-15P to C13 cord instead.
Three 12 AWG copper conductors inside a 105C-rated SJT jacket that stays flexible enough to route through rack rails and cable managers without kinking. Both the L5-20P locking plug and the C19 connector are fully molded with integrated strain relief, so the cord survives repeated locking and unlocking and being pulled through raised-floor runs. Black jacket blends into rack and data center wiring.
