Need a OM4 optical fiber cable from a LC port to a ST port? This Cable Leader OM4 LC to ST fiber optic patch cable, also sold as a LC to ST multimode fiber optic cable, fiber optic network cable or patch cord, uses Corning 50/125 OM4 glass in a 2.0 mm OFNR riser-rated zipcord with a duplex LC/UPC connector on one end and two ST/UPC bayonet connectors with zinc hoods on the other, insertion loss 0.30 dB or less and return loss 35 dB or better. OM4 fiber is specified by TIA-492AAAD at 4700 MHz-km effective modal bandwidth, which carries 10GBASE-SR up to 400 m and 25GBASE-SR up to 100 m under IEEE 802.3. Works with 10GBASE-SR and 1000BASE-SX multimode optics and equipment from Cisco, Ubiquiti UniFi, MikroTik, TP-Link, Netgear, TRENDnet, StarTech, Dell and HPE Aruba. Each cable is sample-tested during production, and Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly. Best for: 10G links between LC and ST gear, patch panels, media converters. Not for: LR or LX single-mode optics on yellow OS2 cable, green APC ports, or Toslink audio.
Corning OM4 50/125 glass carries 10GBASE-SR up to 400 m and 25GBASE-SR up to 100 m under IEEE 802.3. Rated 4700 MHz-km at 850 nm, it stays backward compatible with gigabit optics on the same fiber.
This cable has a duplex LC/UPC connector on one end and two ST/UPC bayonet connectors with zinc hoods on the other, so one jumper links LC SFP or SFP+ ports on one side and ST bayonet patch panels, media converters or legacy hubs on the other. Insertion loss is 0.30 dB or less and return loss 35 dB or better per connector at 850 nm.
LC SFP or SFP+ transceiver on one end (Cisco, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, TP-Link, Netgear, Dell, HPE Aruba) - Yes. ST bayonet patch panel, coupler or media converter (TRENDnet, StarTech) on the other end - Yes. LR or LX single-mode optics on yellow OS2 cable - No. Green APC ports - No. Toslink optical audio - No.
The 2.0 mm duplex zipcord jacket is OFNR riser-rated for vertical runs between floors and standard indoor use, with aramid yarn strength members and a tight buffer around each fiber. Numbered boots and color bands at both ends make polarity easy to trace in a dense rack.
All Cable Leader fiber optic cables are sample-tested during production for insertion loss and return loss, then packed one per zip bag with the connectors capped. If your cable arrives defective or stops working in normal use, Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly, no manufacturer redirects.
