Is this compatible with all Canon printers?

Can you tell me when this item will be available. Can I order it and be notified when it comes in to pick up curb side?

I was sent a email saying this is now in stock at 10:30pm 4/1. I see email at 7:30am on 4/2 ,and it is sold out, that does not help me at all.
