I had this copier previously for over 5 years and used it regularly to copy specifications that have anywhere from 15 to 40 pages. the paper tray storage holds 500 sheets of paper and feeder tray will hold 50. it is only black and white which makes it easy to replace only on cartridge. I doubt I would have needed to get another except my first one got damaged moving. I tried another brand and was disappointed. The speed of this machine is quick smooth and quiet. Does not jam.

This is replacing a ten year old Canon. It’s been running perfectly for a month and is twice as fast. The network computer GUI is awesome for programming tons of fax numbers and it has fax to email which has saved us lots of time scanning then emailing a pdf. It seems robust and the touch screen is ok. I still prefer regular buttons myself but TS is the way the world is going. We have two more old Canon fax printers that are dying and will be replaced by this printer. After 30 years of playing with several brands, Canon can’t be beat for office abuse and longevity.

Overall, it's a good printer for office use. Easy to connect with Wi-Fi too. ADF scanner is little slower and most of the scanned pages are always tilted.

I purchased this printer to replace my old Canon laser printer MF8200, I was surprised to find huge differences between the old and the new. The 5 inch screen clearly made it easy for me for navigate the various menu options and for easy setup. It prints really really fast compared to my old printer. The most important spec is the huge paper cassette tray that takes 550 print sheets. I will surely recommend it for those who wants to purchase a durable home office printer.

The first shock was when I opened the box and realized there was no detailed set up guide for network connections. There was an included "getting started" manual - very brief and in seveal languages - but this covered things in general, not specifics. I did discover an on-line User Guide, but it also skimmed through the generalities, not wifi network connection specifics. So I proceeded to install the printer driver software, as I have done before with several other Canon multifunction printers. At first the lack of printed documentation was a moot point, since the printer screen was set up fo simplify network connection on the initial start up. I allowed me to go to wifi network discovery and bingo, I was connected with a tap on the WPS button on the router. That screen is nonexistent after the initial start up. After initial start up, you are on your own if you upgrade to a new & more powerful wifi router. Took more than 1 hour on the phone with a Canon tech. support person to reconfigure the wifi network connection. By the way, none of this is the fault of the router - it has been a breeze to connect to everything else. If this printer had come wih the kind of complete documentation as my last small business Canon printer, it would have been no problem for me to set it up with any number of new routers. I strongly advise CAUTION to anyone contamplating this multifunction printer unless you have a certified network technician/engineer in your organization.

The menu screen is very unresponsive. Sometimes you have to click on the buttons several times before it is acknowledged. You have to use a stylus to make it work. And even then it still is difficult. I would not purchase this product again or recommend it.

I use this printer for home use and miscellaneous items. Works really well and the only drawback is connectivity issues at times. But overall a great buy and I would recommend.
