What is the difference between the KP 108 and the RP 108 ink and paper> I could not figure it out from the descriptions.
RP-108 has two high capacity cartridges (each capable of 54 printings) vs KP-108 has three standard capacity ones (36 printings each).

Picture shows 3 ink cartridges yet specifications state 1 cartridge. Which is correct? Does this cartridge work with Canon Selphy 1300 (looks like two tubes with cellophane with ink between them)?
Yes, it comes with 3 cartridges and 3 packs of paper. It does work with the New version of the Selphy printer as well as the old. They changed the machine and added new features but kept to the old but awesome quality paper and ink cartridges. I love the printer and the bundled paper/ ink!

does the ink get old in the canon kp-1088in color ink paper set. the box is stamped 2014
since the ink is not a liquid, it should be fine. i have purchased some old boxes that were older than that and they work just like new. just be sure they are stored properly and not allowed to freeze or get too hot as heat is part of the print process. look at it as a solid sheet of laser toner
