Soon as I installed it, the status read as half full. I've had it less than a month and now it reads that that Cyan is out and it pretty much has bricked my printer unless I replace it. I read online Canon put out firmware update that makes it so you can no longer bypass the low ink warning. By the way, I pulled the cyan cartridge out, to see if it really was empty. It wasn't. Rip off. Get a different printer. I know I will be.

I should have looked into the price of replacement ink cartridges before buying my Canon printer. The printer is great, but the ink cartridges are grossly overpriced and have to be changed more frequently that one would expect. (I'm not a business or heavy duty user.) Now I'm between a rock and a hard place, and have already spent near three times more on ink cartridges than on the printer itself. Definitely check the cost of ink, and try to purchase a printer that has refillable cartridges or that will accept refilled cartridges. Otherwise, throw your wallet open to frequent ink purchases.

After replacing the brand new colored ink cartridges the status indicator displayed into half full. After a week, the printer shows empty without even using the printer itself. After a month, I bought another sets of colored ink cartidges and replaced the empty ones still the same the status indicator shows half full after printing 3 pages. I hardly use the printer but then the ink level unusually going down without using it. I never had this experienced with my old HP printer. What is the problem of this Canon printer machine?

My Canon printer is an ink vampire and this is its expensive blood. Go look at the new Epson EcoTank line of printers. Printers cost more upfront but the ink is much, much cheaper. It will be the direction I go next.

I don't use my printer often, so when I started to get the "low ink" message last fall, I figured there might have printed a lot at some point that I forgot about. However, I bought this in early November and installed it so I could print something. I have printed a grand total of 12 sheets of paper since installing this new ink catridge about six weeks ago and am again getting a "low ink" warning for the color cartridges. That's outrageous. It's time for me to get a non-Canon printer so I don't have to buy new ink for every 20 pages or so that I print.

This product hardly prints 10 pages before having to replace it again. The quality is good, but you will spend a lot of money. Not worth it.

I bought this ink set, twice. First time i purchased it i printed less than 10 pieces of paper and it said i needed to replace. Purchased it again recently and the magenta was not working what so ever. Reached out to Best Buy and they ignored my email.

If you print infrequently, these may not be for you. These ink "tanks" do not list a page rating, but it must be more than the 10-20 pages I print before the printer no longer finds usable ink in these.

This product is overpriced for ink in my opinion. I've been forced to buy this for a couple years and the color ink would run out after very minimal use even when 99% of my printing jobs were Grayscale or black and white. I eventually got rid of the supporting printer because I was so tired wasting money buying this ink.

Printer wouldn't let me print in grayscale due to a single color being out of ink since it may "harm" the printer functionality so I was forced to buy this pack. Purchased the product, swapped all 3 colors and Cyan was immediately down to 10% while Magenta and Yellow are maybe 50%. I wouldn't recommend this ink or the printer that goes along with it. Awful.

At $43.19 is not a bargain at all. Ink lasted for two different print jobs that were black ink prints. At this rate I would need to purchase 3pk ink every other print job. I am very dissatisfied. I buy your ink because it is recommended. I will not do business with BestBuy any longer due to a management decision.

Bought this ink for my printer and went to use it and it read the color ink was almost empty. Call the store and the woman who answered the store phone told me no way it was almost empty so there was nothing they could do to fix it. SO I WILL NOT BUY INK FROM HERE AGAIN !

I don’t know why but the Ink doesn’t last very long barely printed out a few pages and the printer prompted me for a new ink cartridge

I wasn’t able to return this item because it was discontinued, I haven’t even had it 30 days and the store was closed because of the riots as well

Cyan ink cartridge was empty. How can you prove that if you even attempted to return.

This will be my last Canon printer, the ink doesn’t last long and is expensive, that’s why the printer was so cheap!!!
