The Canon PIXMA MegaTank G2260 is a great choice for anyone who prints frequently. The ink tank system lasts a long time, saving you money compared to traditional cartridges. The print quality is excellent for both documents and photos, with crisp text and vibrant colors. It’s also easy to set up and use as an all-in-one printer, making scanning and copying straightforward. If you need a reliable, cost-efficient printer that delivers on quality, the G2260 is a solid pick.

Excellent printer. Canon got it right this time with HUGE ink tanks. I print a lot and the ink lasts a very long time before refills. Print quality is excellent. Other printers in this price range (or less) seem to be of good quality but they get you with the inks.....cheap printer, expensive inks. Not this one! The machine is not finicky like some others are. Just put the paper in and go.....

OK printing, but not as much freedom as I'd like. I'd prefer to choose the quality of what I'm printing each time, but with this if you choose the correct paper being used you have to go with the setting the printer chooses. e.g. If I'm printing a card on cardstock but don't want it photo quality I have to check plain paper and standard. If I check card stock it automatically goes to best quality. Maybe I'll like it a lot better when I get used to it. It was very easy to set up, but the software is a little confusing. I print a lot of cards but with my old printer just using normal quality cards were fine. They're not meant to be professional. The first card I printed with the Canon, from Hallmark software, I checked cardstock so it printed at Best quality. Admittedly the card turned out beautifully, took a long time to print as I was thinking of all the ink it must be using. So if you want to make professional looking cards, or even photos I think this would do excellent if you make the correct settings. Not sure how economical though. I also found it's easier to scan of you install Canon Inkjet Smart Connect. I might note, this comes from the Microsoft store and I had a hard time getting the store to let me install it (it's free).

Just set up my new PIXMA G2260. It was delivered in 3 days by Best Buy, set up was uncomplicated, copying and printing is easy, and the print quality is excellent. Draft copies now cost $.03/page and not $.30/page. So far I really like this printer. As hard as it is to believe, there wasn't a USB cable in the box!

Only plan on buying this printer if you have your own cable to connect it to one computer. This might have good ratings but only for people who are not trying to print wirelessly to a printer. There is no option to connect to Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth connection from other printers. If you have an Apple computer you can't even plug it into most of them because they do not have USB Outlets. Don't even think of printing from your phone. I was attracted to this printer because of the huge ink bottles I like the idea of not refilling ink all the time. I had Canon photo paper and tried printing out 8x10 size sheets. It printed two sheets out fine. But the rest that I tried it completely washed out the picture and was not vibrant. I did a cleaning and nothing changed it's still printed the picture out whitewashed. All of these problems cause me to take it back to the store. I'm glad I buy my products through Best Buy and pay for the pro membership. It's worth it. I spent way too much time trying to figure out how to hook this computer up wirelessly, so hopefully my review saves you time. Time to go buy a Smart Printer.

Works great, set up was easy. Only thing is that the pictures are very washed out looking. All printed pages are normal. Maybe there is a setting for the ink quality of printing pictures that I don’t know about. And when I bought it I just assumed it was Bluetooth capable. Took me awhile to figure that out when I was setting it up. I thought everything was Bluetooth now. My mistake. However I can deal with that. So really the only thing that bothers me is the quality of the pictures that I have printed being washed out looking.

Bought is almost 1.5 years ago. Still could not finish first tank of ink. Color and speed of print is good. Blacks are dark enough. I have printed some photos, looks better than walgreen printed photos.

It's a pretty good printer, the quality of prints are nice. The only con I think is not getting a WiFi connectivity in the printer as the USB cable for printer is not provided with the printer. The Ink tanks are very easy to fill-up and the additional 2 bottles of black ink along with 1 black, 3 color bottles seem enough for any user printing about 15-20 pages a day.

Shipping was unusually quick. Arrived within a day. Instructions could be a bit simpler. The printed handbook was rather skimpy on details. Had to rely on the instructions from the computer. Once set up all went well. Copying proved to be rather confusing, but finally figured it out. Too bad it can't be done directly with the printer keys. Direct printing via computer seems to work well. Photos show good detail and color.

Prints very well. Was easy to install the ink and get started quickly.
The screen needs to have a light to view display menu.

Works well good definition on plain paper, excellent definition on photo paper. I'm having a little trouble fitting images to paper size but that might just be my unfamiliarity with the software.

The printer is one of the best things I've bought this year. It uses little ink, compared to my old printer. Set up was a breeze. The colors really pop.

I bought this after having my old canon biting the dust, but first i bought a HP to go with my new HP computer but that one sucked!! So i went back to Canon which i have loved the brand since my first Canon camera was bought for me for my HS grad. The ink in this lasts soooooo much longer than any cartridge. I have printed over 600 pictures and 1000 of papers for my preschoolers and finally had to fill the ink and i bought this printer in Jan.
