It is fully compatible with Canon CR-N300 and CR-N500 PTZ cameras and supports control via IP or serial communication for flexible integration into existing workflows. The RC-IP100 utilizes Canon’s proprietary XC IP protocol, enabling secure and reliable camera control over a private LAN network, while an additional RJ45 port supports RS-422 serial protocol connectivity. The large touchscreen interface allows configuration and monitoring of up to 100 cameras from a single unit and supports storage of up to 100 presets with trace functionality for quick and repeatable camera positioning. A high precision joystick enables smooth and accurate pan and tilt adjustments, while the integrated zoom rocker allows simultaneous control for natural two hand operation. Four customizable buttons and assignable control knobs provide fast access to frequently used settings. A DB-9 input and output port allows monitoring of camera tally information, and the unit can be powered using a 12V barrel adapter. The RC-IP100 controller provides IP control for 99 supported Canon PTZ cameras utilizing Canon's new XC protocol. Additionally, through the serial port, the CR-N500, CR-N300, and other legacy PTZ cameras that support the NU protocol can be simultaneously controlled.
