Customers praise the stunning image quality and the beautiful bokeh effect produced by this lens. Users also appreciate its lightweight design, affordable price point, and effectiveness for portrait photography. While the lens is highly regarded for its performance, some users have noted that the focus speed can be a bit slow.
For use with your existing Canon mirrorless camera.
Allows you to capture intricately detailed images without getting too close to your subject. Concentrates the focus on a narrow field of view for vivid close-up shots.
Beautifully isolates your subject from the background. This versatile focal length blends depth and dimension for stunning portraits, action shots and low-light images.
Capture the action at indoor sporting events and other situations with less-than-ideal lighting conditions. It creates an exceptional background blur, which produces stunning images.
The RF85mm F2 Macro IS STM lens is designed to work in conjunction with EOS R series cameras, with both the camera & the lens sharing data to dramatically reduce camera-shake blur, whether shooting video or stills.
The RF85mm F2 Macro IS STM lens is designed for working up-close and personal with subjects to document even the most minute of details. And because it has a maximum magnification of 0.5x, you can even experience close-up 1:2 half life-size macro photography.
