Installation difficulty depends on your vehicle and head unit. For most vehicles with an aftermarket radio that supports a rear camera input, installation is generally straightforward and typically takes 30–90 minutes. The camera uses a standard RCA video connection and a 12V reverse light trigger. By default, the camera is set to AHD mode for high-definition video. If your head unit only supports CVBS (analog), you can easily switch the camera to CVBS by cutting the brown control loop, as explained in the included installation manual. If you’re not comfortable working with vehicle wiring, we recommend having the camera installed by a professional car audio technician for the best results.
