My son absolutely loves this telescope and setup was pretty simple for the most part. Only thing I wish is that it has something to stabilize the phone camera to look into the viewfinder for pictures

So far i am really enjoying this but it takes time to learn how to use (I'm still learning)

Once you learn how to use the telescope it is so much fun for the whole family. We bought an extra lense kit to see planets. we couldn’t believe the amount of detail seen. For the price this is an excellent beginner model. My 10yr old son is even able to set up and use on his own. Lightweight so easy to travel with.

very nice easy to setup easy to use works as advertised would recommend!!!

The packaging greatly exaggerated this telescope's capabilities. Great for viewing the moon with great detail, but the planets look like tiny dots even with the 2X barlow and the 10mm lens. No detail at all while viewing Mars. After focusing several times Mars looks like a fuzzy red pin of light. Originally had a $75 70mm travel refractor telescope and thought this would be a decent upgrade...it was not. Basically the same outcome when viewing planets. Save your money for a better telescope, unless all you really want to see is the moon. I'd say the best feature is the tripod. I'm 6ft so it was nice not having to slouch over to reach the eyepiece.

Great telescope for beginners to explore planets see the moon I love it

The view is outstanding, being able to look through the scope and also follow along on your phone is amazing!

This is a great beginner telescope. It's very to calibrate and aim. The app requires for viewing can be troublesome at times. But if you're just looking at the moon, it's great. I can't recommend in it because I don't feel comfortable leaving my phone on the telescope outside for hours while the temperature equalized between the scope and the ambient temperature.

Great beginner telescope to use and learn. The app dosent work properly ony phone, but other than that it works amazing!

Very Happy with this. Easy set up and lightweight!

I am enjoying the telescope, but if I had more knowledge about them I would have gotten the bigger one. Maybe next time.

This is a great beginner telescope.....just wanted something to star gaze from our front porch in NC.

This is an amazing starter telescope! Can easily see the planets and there surface in an area with a lot of outside light

Very good for a beginner telescope the only negative thing is I can't seem to get the 10mm lens focused correctly

It is an amazing item. My son loves the app that come with it , so he can located everything in the sky. Ours came with a free Shutterbug credit and we are looking so forward to getting a great picture to hang in his room. Maybe if i am lucky my son will let me look through some time.

Good telescope, smart sense definitely helps. The alignment of the telescope with the cellphone took some time.

I bought this telescope for my son. I was able to use it to view Jupiter. I think the telescope is worth the price.

We have been looking for a telescope for over a year and found this one which is awesome. The price was great. It was a belated Christmas present and an early Birthday present. Just can't wait till all this rain and cold weather goes away so we can really get out and enjoy it.

Great beginner telescope. Can easily see the planets and there surface in an area with a lot of outside light.

Bought this telescope for my grandson. Liked the idea that you can use your cell phone and the Celestron App to help you locate and focus in on what you want to view. Nice telescope for someone who wants to get started with some home astronomy. He is really enjoying it.
