Supports IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (Class 1), eliminating the need for a separate power adapter when connected to a PoE-capable switch or injector. An optional regional power adapter (sold separately: CP-3905-PWR-NA= for North America and other region variants) is available for non-PoE environments. Power input rating: 1.5A at 4.2V DC.
The built-in 10/100BASE-T Ethernet switch features two RJ-45 ports: one for the LAN network connection and one downstream access port for connecting a PC. Sharing a single network drop reduces cabling infrastructure costs. Supports DHCP client or static IP configuration, TFTP firmware upgrades, DNS, RTCP monitoring, Syslog, and an embedded web server for configuration and statistics.
The 128 x 32-pixel monochrome display provides a scrollable two-line view for call status, directories, and settings. Keys include Select, Back, two-way navigation, Redial, Transfer, Hold/Resume, Mute, Volume Up/Down, Speakerphone, and a standard dial pad. Supports 30+ display languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Arabic.
