GOTY of 2025. Played on PS5 and bought this copy for my friend on Xbox. First xbox game I've ever purchased but worth it to share this game with someone who would enjoy it as much as me.

I was looking everywhere for an English copy of Expedition 33 and I had almost given up, but then I found that Best buy had it in stock and ready to ship, I was so excited I immediately ordered it and it arrived within the week

Best game I’ve played all year, the combat can be a bit tricky but it’s worth it for the music alone.

I try to be hype free, I held off on playing this even though I have Gamepass due to 1) it being turn based and the fact it was getting 10/10s. I played so much Pokemon growing up I haven’t really played a turn based game since. So finally weeks later I gave this a try and wow! The turn based aspect was extremely engaging. The parrying was just as addicting as it was in Sekiro and I loved the fact if you took enough time to really grasp the combat, the synergy stuff really elevates the combat. To me the combat is not even the best part, the story and musical score were the standouts here. The story, without spoilers was one of the most emotional games I’ve ever played. It masks its relatable story through this fantastical world beautifully. The score is EASILY one of my favorite pieces of music in all games/movies and I’ve played and watched a disgusting amount of video games and films. This game truly was something special and for 49.99 it was a steal. I refuse to buy new games lately at full price but since I played this off of Gamepass and the fact they’ve been restocking the physical copy I decided to actually buy the game physically. There’s only a handful of games I’d give a 10/10 and this is one of them. My 10/10 games are the following; Red Dead Redemption II, The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, The Witcher III and now Expedition 33.

My title should tell you enough about whether you should buy it. But yes, I felt compelled to buy this even though I have GamePass. The game is incredible from the music, to visuals, to gameplay…. And it was released finished!!!! FIN ISHED!!! Not a broken mess like many triple AAA games that try to patch up later but still want all your money up front. Speaking of money, this is a triple AAA quality game for only 50 bucks with no micro transactions. I have nothing more to say than to support devs who respect our time and wallets. And its clear that the devs of COE33 not only respect us, but they respect the art of creating a masterful game in every aspect possible. 10 out of 10!

It blows my mind that this was made by a relatively small studio. The gameplay is perfect - turn-based action with a parry system that feels so good. The story is utterly moving. The writing is top-notch. Amazing music. I can't recommend this game enough.

Overall this game is good it has, great story, gameplay, and music. This game is a rpg dark souls type game. You will die often. Learn how to parry or dodge

Game of the year in my book. Already playing this game on Gamepass but loved it so much i wanted to buy thd physical copy to support the studio that made it. Graphics, music, and story are on a whole other level to. Sure its turn based, but once you understand the combat system its a hard game to stop playing. 10/10 for me. So glad i snagged a physical copy from Best Buy!

played this game on Game Pass and all I can say is I love it. It has an amazing story, the game mechanics are great. Makes you think about the good old JRPG from back in the day. If you are a fan of JRPG's like the classic Final Fantasy games, you will enjoy this game.

Amazing game. Game of the Year. The acting is incredible. The art is beautiful. The gameplay is fun, challenging, and inventive. It is original, but reminds you of every classic game you love.

This game is absolutely amazing, the story is one of if not the best story in a game I have ever played. The visuals are incredible and beautiful. And the gameplay is also very enjoyable. (And I'm a person who usually doesn't play turn based games, but the way they implemented the parrying and dodging makes it work really well and feel really rewarding.) A downright amazing game all round, I would highly recommend it to anybody interested in finding a new game to play.

Really great game! If you like turn based RPGs this is a fresh and intuitive take on a classic and somewhat stale combat system! And the story was a pleasure to watch unfold, as it contained a lot of unexpected turns, and the characters feel real and nuanced, not relying on tropes and 1 dimensional character traits! A great first entry for a new developer that i will be keeping my eye on moving forward!

Fantastic story. A game I first played on GamePass but it didn't take long for me to decide I needed to buy a copy. Controls are spot on, next to no bugs, and a gripping story and musical score all in one package. If you are a fan of turn based RPG games with real-time elements in combat, this is for you. And for only $50?! An absolute steal
