I’ve been using the CLX Horus Gaming Desktop for a few weeks now, and WOW—this thing is an absolute monster! From the moment I fired it up, I knew I’d made the right choice. When it arrived, I had a small moment of panic because the outer box looked like it had been opened, but the inner box was factory sealed and the packaging was insanely good—seriously, CLX went above and beyond to make sure this rig was protected. For a pre-built, this thing exceeds every expectation by miles. Plus, CLX’s customer service is top-tier. Fast, friendly, and actually helpful. And buying through Best Buy was completely hassle-free—they made the whole process smooth from start to finish. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, 96GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, a GeForce RTX 5080, and a 2TB NVMe SSD, this setup is an absolute powerhouse. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—this system is the real deal.

I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. First off, the packaging was top-notch. Even though the exterior Best Buy box took a bit of a beating during shipping, the retail box inside was perfectly intact, thanks to the excellent foam packing. Not a scratch on the machine itself! As for the build, it's clear that premium components were used throughout. There's also room for future expansion, which is a big plus compared to more cramped pre-builts from other brands. Performance-wise, it runs flawlessly. There's no bloatware, just a clean Windows installation with all drivers ready to go. I was up and running in no time. The included mouse is fantastic, and while the keyboard is pretty standard, it definitely gets the job done if you don't have one already. The LED lighting looks great, and while the fans do make some noise, it's nothing out of the ordinary for such a powerful machine. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this builder to anyone looking for a high-quality gaming PC.

This computer is an absolute beast. It's fun and fast. I have decent internet and I'm pushing in 850 mbps download speed and about 200-300 fps in 4k. It has some good virus protection built in. It's very simple to use. I love it. I'm also getting my daughters to use it to do homework and learn certain work skills in using microsoft Word, power point, excel, etc... it's great for games.

Easy set up. Very helpful customer service at CLX when asking about the GPU mounting bracket. Video editing has been smooth as butter. Excited to run some photogrammetry through it and create some 3D models.

One Star for BestBuy for not telling me that I can buy an extension of the original warranty - I only knew that from CLX - and one star for CLX for the following reasons: About 6 months after purchasing the computer it suddenly stopped, I contacted CLX and we discovered that I have a failed SSD. A replacement was sent to me, but only a couple of hours after installing it the fans stopped, CLX then sent me a fan hub which I wasn't able to connect to the cables myself so I sent the computer back to CLX - as they requested - and then they discovered that the system also has a bad SATA cable and also the Power Supply needed to be replaced. So in a matter of just a few months after purchasing the system I had several components failed!!! I am also worried because there was a problem with the Power Supply that a new issues with other components may arise in the future. I have asked CLX to extend the warranty to compensate me for the time I lost - over a month without the computer - and the Data I lost forever on the failed SSD and to have a peace of mind since many components in the system have failed but they only agreed to just 2 months of warranty extension!!! So you can draw your on conclusion on wither you should buy this model or not.

[Employee of bestbuy] For a desktop of this price I was very disappointed the only way to change the RGB was with a remote. Should be using parts with customizable options inside windows. After a week of owning the computer I got kernel errors and windows became unrepairable.

Excellent desktop computer. Very powerful. Easy set up. No bloatware on this computer, which is something I try to avoid on a new computer. I also installed and formatted an additional 4 Tb SSD drive in an M2 slot. Please note there were no screws in the post for the M2 slots. Also no heat sinks. I got the correct size screws from the Geek squad at Best Buy. I also got a Samsung SSD drive with a built in heat sink. Install and formatting was fairly easy, and I am no tech expert. Just watched a few YouTube videos. Overall a very good computer.

It's been 6 months since I have owned this desktop. The performance with games that require a tanky loadout to run them at max quality have been perfect but the only reason I don't rate it with 5 stars is for two minor things. 1. Connecting the desktop and the monitor via DP cable never worked. I've been using an Ultra HDMI cable, but to be fair, I bought a new monitor too so, I never troubleshoot to understand if it was the DP output of the desktop or the DP input of the monitor. 2. I acquired Battlefield 6 recently, I had to educate myself on how to Enable Secure Boot because for EA games is mandatory to have it enabled and this desktop comes with Secure Boot Off. It's way simpler to do than most videos you will find on YouTube will show you but it took me a little while to finally come to that conclusion.

Very quiet machine. Runs everything very well. Randomly disconnects bluetooth devices or I have to reconnect each time.

Its doing great we live in our camper and got this for our gaming setup we also have 3 cats and so far theres been no dust or cat hair getting inside the tower and it works really fast and love the light options

Very powerful machine! I bought this with the hope that I won't have to replace it for several years, and it looks like it will do just fine in that regard! The customizable lights are also very nice. My only real complaint is all the unnecessary AI bloatware that comes with the included Windows 11, but it's easy to uninstall/turn all of that off.

Arrived on time and was not damaged in any way. It works amazing for all of my games and normal computer needs. Fast and great graphics. I love the silent keyboard. I play a lot of WOW and it doesn’t glitch and graphics are amazing with out even playing with the resolution. I would definitely recommend this if you are a hard core gamer and want a quality gaming system that has a ton of space and speed

I bought this PC and the time I've had it is good. I don't give it 5 stars because it has its flaws. It's not perfect, but it's not bad, it's good.

This is by far the best system for the money. I would only suggest a little more storage and a faster ethernet card. I still highly recommend this pc! Love it!

The only problem I had with this computer was that the SSD card was not pushed in and a wire wasn't fully plugged in.
