A blue rubber ring came with it with no explanation for its use. Where does it go and what does it do?
Hello, that blue rubber ring is for inside the inhaler, a seal to protect from water leaking out.
Is there a way to clean the inside of the base? I'm sure after a couple of years of use there may be some sort of residue.
No water can get into the base of this item, and because of this the inside of the base of the unit does not need to be cleaned.
Can you use abuterol sulfate asthma medication in it ?
We do not recommend that you add anything other than water to the unit's water tank. You can however use additives such as the one you have described if you use a humidifier or inhaler vapor pad in the unit with the additive.
How often can you use it? After every charge or 2 to 4 times a day? If you’re just using the steam not the vapor pads, can you use it several times a day?
There is not a limit to how much you can use this item.
How long are the treatments?
The treatments are 15 minutes long and automatically shut off after each treatment.
