The explore 3 is a great cutting machine! I had the 2 for a few years prior so I’m familiar with the machine. It’s faster and quieter than the older model. I don’t really care to use the smart materials personally however it seems like it will be handy for others. Plus Best Buy price matched for me from a competitor so that was a bonus!

I had a Cricut YEARS ago and couldn’t wait to get this model. I love the software and ease of the Explore 3! I made wedding favors, cards and a couple tee shirts already. So worth the money!

Worth the upgrade! If you get it at the right time, it's worth the upgrade. The Good: Quiet, faster. The Bad: no variation in machine color, the set-up takes longer and is frustrating (not as easy as 1,2,3 like explore air 2). Imo: You will have software issues if you are running M1 and/or Windows 11 running on an unsupported pc. There is a workaround for this. I can't speak for supported windows 11 users. not sure how that process works out. For ***Unofficial Windows 11 Users***, if your pc doesn't recognize the machine, go to device manager, you should see the USB drive updater. If you update it here and it still doesn't work, right-click on the taskbar over the USB icon and open the folder. You should see an image that says Explore Air 3. But it's useless. Right-click and connect through Bluetooth. Design software should be downloaded from cricut[dot]com/setup The design software should pick it up by Bluetooth. If that doesn't work or if you want to skip all this: TLDR: the fast way to set up the machine is to use your phone. don't use mac m1 or windows 11 to set up & register the machine. I just saved you an hour or two of frustration, still don't get why it's not as easy as explore air 2 or every other cricut machine.

I originally started my Cricut journey with a joy, but decided I wanted more. I love this model, it’s easy and fun to use. My only wish is that they would make an engraving tool for this model. If you are looking for a crafting tool this is it. Great product at a great price.

Amazing! Upgraded from the Cricut Air 2 and so happy I did. Cuts vinyl in half the time compared to the Air 2. It's easy to use and the new smart vinyl option is great. I love the ability to make custom shirts, stickers, or cards quickly with Design Space.

Better then my last. It’s definitely faster and cuts way more things than my old one I will definitely have fun with this one since I can cut more material.

So many uses, and we have not even come close to exploring all of them yet. Cutting of stencils and iron-ons is quick. The app is easy to use for designing. We have made custom gear for high school sports team, and they turned out great! Will be doing stencils for screenprinting for our business next. Wish there was more selection of free fonts on the app, but it looks like we can upload and create from any jpeg, so any design program can make that and we won't need to rely on the cricut paid app parts. Love how it can do large projects!

I am a baker so I am always doing edible images. This machine does it all !!! I don’t have one complain about it ! It makes my work so much easier with having it cut the images on it own!

This machine is amazing. I’ve been making shirts and Halloween decorations. Can not wait to start on Christmas stuff. Super easy to use and has Bluetooth So I can design on my phone, go home and just create!

After doing some research, the Explorer 3 seamed to fit my needs. So far I have only used it a few times however, it worked great and cut some vinyl very quickly. The software has a learning curve to it but once you understand how it works, it works good. It does have its quirks. Overall a well built machine and looking forward to some exciting projects.

My wife is really amazed by it. The machine itself is easy. But it is hard to navigate on the app. You have to watch a lot of YouTube videos and learn from people who know how to use the app. I'm not too happy that we have to pay for a subscription to use the cool templates on the app.
