I have never had this product before, but now it has given me an extra layer of confidence and peace of mind with my computer safety. It's working well so far to keep several lower-powered devices (NAS, router, and ISP modem) online and to allow an NAS to gracefully shut down when utility power is lost. While one can plug desktops and other high-power consumption devices into this UPS, they may not stay powered by the battery for long. The outlets are spaced slightly more apart than those in more expensive and capable UPS tower devices. However, for some, the orientation of the plugs themselves may require using larger plugs or wall warts on the top or bottom outlet. The solution, which I assume others do with other UPS units, is to buy very short extension cables that allow one to use larger wall warts. Battery IS user-replaceable. The USB outlets ARE powered by the unit's battery when utility power is cut off. The Synology DSM program will properly utilize this device when a USB cable is connected from the UPS's USB data port on the side of the unit to the Synology NAS's USB port. It networks all my devices, and I shall have to get another. Thanks.

I have had quite a few backup systems over the years, but this has the best combination of outlets and stats in its price range. It had an opportunity to prove itself a couple of weeks ago when the power went out. I was able to finish up my work on the computer (iMac) and save with no issues. Here's a little tip for all backup blocks where space for various large plugs and bricks cannot find a home: I bought a six pack of cord extensions for cheap. They are basically a six inch long extension cord that gives you just enough length to allow you to use just about any size brick with no problem. Just search around for them. The photo shows the unit as part of my cable management system.

Its important to understand that these lower end consumer UPS units are not designed to keep your equipment powered for hours at a time. They are designed for keeping equipment powered during short power outages and or allow one to gracefully shut down the computer or other device connected to the battery backup outlets. And it should be noted that most consumer level UPS units do not recommend connecting high power consumption devices like printers or microwaves to them.

The last one i had was solid, although the surge protection only side stopped worked 6 months past the 3 year warranty. But the USB connection to the computer and software always keeps me current on power use, and that the UPS is working correctly. Great protection, and works as intended. I wish I had the ability to turn the three plug connections sideways when I have long power connecters so it doesn't cover the connection next to it. All connections should have battery backup, not just one side, hence the 4 stars.

I added a second security system to my house and bought this backup power supply on sale from Best Buy. Although it is smaller and less capable than my other uninterruptable power supplies it works great for my living room TV, stereo, and accompanying camera system. Plus, it is slightly smaller and fit perfectly in the entertainment system.

UPS does what it is supposed to and the CyberPower PowerPanel Personal software is great, giving full configurability of the UPS' operational configuration. I like the power consumption metrics it calculates as well. I have dinged it 1 star because the mounting points on the underside do not come with any hardware or best practices/instructions for actually mounting. Took me a few tries to mount it properly to the underside of my standing desk.

This does what it's supposed to do, only negative thing is the fact that the internal battery is not secured in place so it clunks when handled. I use this to keep my tv in my semi truck from shutting off when the engine automatically starts. It works great.

This was installed by Best Buy Geek Squad with my TV. I had to return this item because it would not stop beeping. Every attempt to stop the beeping failed.

If you do not have a UPS connected to your computer, you need to get one ASAP. These are vital pieces of equipment that can be the difference of having a presentation ready for work or having a corrupt file. I have learned this from experience and now I preach the importance of getting a UPS. This system features 4 sockets that are battery protected and 4 that are just surge protected, as well as 2 USB Ports. These gives you a wide selection of ports to fit into any desktop configuration. Personally I would have the PC and monitor on Battery, and mostly everything else on Surge Protection. This will allow the maximum runtime for you pc so you can save and safely shut down the machine. You can also set up, with software, the ability for the UPS to trigger your computer to shut down automatically. Overall, if you are looking for a decent UPS that isn't going to break the bank, this is a great option.

I’ve been using the CyberPower 650VA Battery Back-Up System for a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Setup was incredibly simple, and the unit is compact enough to fit neatly under my desk without taking up much space. What really stands out is the peace of mind it provides. During short outages and power dips, it kicks in instantly and keeps my PC and networking equipment running without a hitch. The audible alerts are helpful but not annoying, and the display indicators make it easy to know everything is working properly. The build quality feels solid, and for the price, the value is outstanding. If you need a dependable UPS for a home office, gaming setup, or even just protecting your electronics, this model is a no-brainer. Highly recommended!

I have purchased 2 of these in the past and had to replace one after over 3years of constant use for my work come home office. It only has a few battery backup and surge protector plugs but all of the plus are surge protectors. I am I Georgia and we have tons of Thunderstorms. While this has alarmed multiple times I have never lost anything plugged into it.

I got this one for my mother. I've set it up with her phone and Wi-Fi router plugged in as well as her PC. Helps to have the bases covered during an outage or just a flicker and definitely a surge. Good pricing and will last several years. Well with every penny. I've owned one myself for a while now.
