Intended to keep a laptop alive for the remainder of our church service is laptop runs out. Should have lots of capacity, but watch out - the total power available is not directly related to the backup time, which can really be minutes. But this was the most we could afford, so buyer -do more research than I do. We have to turn off all warnings of course, so the unit lights give almost no indication of charge.

I've had these battery back ups before, but this one I've had less than 3 months and it randomly sets off a screaming alarm and the light blinks. I have to turn it off, unplug things then reset and turn it back on before plugging things back in. First time, okay, maybe a fluke, but it has done it 3 or 4 times already, I think it's time to take it back, must be a dud, the others I have had lasted for years and didn't do that.

I used it to back up power for an internet modem and a wireless router. It does its fine. However, after a few years being plugged, it does not maintain an acceptable duration during power outages. It is somewhat disappointing that it doesn't last long before the backup battery needs to be replaced.

As a UPS/Battery backup, this unit works fine. HOWEVER, if you want to use it to shut down a PC if power starts to run low, it does NOT work very well. After a power hit, the software gets confused, and at the end of a timed period IT DROPS POWER COMPLETELY WITHOUT WARNING. Their support people think that is a feature, I see it as a MAJOR FLAW. So, if you want to use it without hooking up to a USB port, its fine, otherwise, bewere.

Doesn't last as long as I expected. It has an annoying recurring beep when the power goes out, but that can be disables.

Alarm has sounded 3 times since owning. Seems to have trouble with 300W aquarium heater, even though it meets the specs.

In total I have purchased 6 of these not all from best buy, however out of the 6 I have already noticed 2 of them have dead batteries they are all less than a year old i could go through the warranty process but dont really want to go without for an extended period of time so i have already replaced the batteries,at my expense

Bought these for my home computer and 3d printers. With the specs on these they should handle my 500w 3d printers without an issue. Every time the heat bed starts to warm up the alarm goes off. Also if my computer is doing anything more then office and internet it starts beeping as well. I didn't think it would be an issue unless the power went out.

These units are not designed to power anything with a heating element as often they cause an in-rush current when starting to heat up, which may overload the UPS. This UPS can handle a total of 650 Volt-Amps of power usage, however the battery outlets max out at 360 Watts. Any more power draw than that and it will overload the UPS, which may be the beeping you are hearing. Surge protector side worked well. Followed instructions and charged the battery. but the battery side never worked. it would immediately just beep. Was able to return as defective though.

Doesn't handle the power draw demands from a Mac Pro at startup well, but does just fine after everything is running. My APC 550VA never stumbled at startup like this does (gives alert that there's battery drain occurring during startup), but the Mac Pro starts and then has no issues thereafter.

We’ve had it for less than a month. Power went out during the recent winds. It turned off. It did work when we turned the power off manually a week before for some work, so no clue why it stopped this time. Gonna have to exchange it.

I bought this in case of power outage and we did lose power but it only lasted about 10 minutes! I was very disappointed that it did not last longer!

I am giving it this rating because the power button is located by the battery backup's outlets and it can be easily covered up by using the top outlet.
