I always loved the Dead Rising series, and the first game was always an amazing showcase of early tech and challenging gameplay. TIt's not as handholding as many games, which is refreshing after playing so many overly easy games. This remaster is cheap as well, so it's worth a try.

If you've played the original Dead Rising you should know what to expect. There aren't any real significant upgrades to the original and it probably hasn't aged very well. If you're looking for a nice trip down memory lane for a launch era Xbox 360 title go ahead and pick this up, the price is appropriate for what you're getting.

This game definitely shows it's age, but it's still a classic. The simple dated graphics are pretty easy to overlook as the game does run at a pretty smooth 60fps at 1080p and the game is still really colorful and fun to watch. What some people may find jarring is the antiquated control scheme. This game came out originally right before over the shoulder shooters started to properly utilize shoulder buttons and duel sticks. So while shooting your way through hordes of zombies seems ideal, the controls are likely to push you towards melee weapons over firearms fast and hard. If you've played DR before this is very much the same game you remember, minimal polish added. It's still a good game though, just an old good game.

This game is pretty good. Updated graphics on Xbox One and you still get all the same greatness of the original. One thing for sure though...you will have to work hard to beat the game. It is tough!

this is a good game, with this remaster you won't go wow but the game runs smoothly and still very fun to play with all its mission and side quest, if you are looking for a great Zomby game look no further and buy this game.

I am never played this game yet I hope the game good

This is a good remake from the Xbox 360 days. It has a great premise and interesting gameplay. The zombies never stop coming for you! Pick it up now!

If you remember playing the original Dead Rising way back in 2006 on the XBox 360, you'll be right at home playing the HD Upgraded version for the XBox One. There really isn't anything too different about the game when compared to the original X360 version, besides the obvious framerate increase and true HD graphics thanks to the capabilities in power coming from the XBox One. Sure, it's the exact same game with no extra bells or whistles but even after over a decade, the game itself is still quite fun to play.

Good price good game I like it I got play I like it

The graphics are good and the game play keeps you interested in playing it. There are plenty of places to explore and you're not stuck in a set pattern, so I wasn't bored 10 minutes into the game like has happened to me with several other similar games.

This is not the most recommended game for upgrade purposes, unless you’re a big fan of the series. This is a simple port, and only benefits moderately from the extra power of the current consoles. It’s the best way to play, but it’s barely different from the original, and only runs slightly better.

I love this series, and this is the game that started it all. It is still playable 10 years later. If you're only used to the newer Dead Rising games, this may feel more difficult. It's well worth the time. As for the remaster, it's a full 1080p at 60fps. Which is all you can ask for a $20 game. It is a tangible difference.

This was a Christmas gift idea that my son gave to us.

With dead rising 4 out playing the original seems nostalgic and super sweet. To see the improvement in game play from the original to four is amazing. For fans of the new this is a must to understand the franchise, for fans of old it's time for frank to kick butt

Capcom re-released a bunch of xbox 360 games for the xbox one. Dead RIsing was the first game I picked up from this patch of games. I highly recommend anyone to pick this up as it fixes a lot of the text issues that the 360 version had upon release.
