I was looking for a docking station for my HP Spectre and an important consideration was multiple ports for monitors. I had a work Dell laptop previous to this laptop and I had a Dell docking station so I was familiar with the product. My two Dell monitors have DP outputs, so being able to utilize the DP port for one monitor, and the HDMI ports for additional monitors was a feature I liked. I've managed to actually connect three monitors, two hard drives, speakers, and a webcam along with a Logitech Universal USB receiver with only a USB cable needed to connect to my laptop. Well worth the money.

The Dell D3100 USB 3.0 Docking Station has been a reliable addition to my setup. Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to its plug-and-play feature, and using it has been straightforward. The variety of ports, including HDMI, DP, Ethernet, USB-C, and USB-A, provide versatility. However, I wish it came with a USB-C cord, considering the prevalence of USB-C in modern devices. Despite this minor drawback, the docking station has significantly enhanced connectivity, making it a valuable accessory.

Great docking station if you're looking to add a monitor, keyboard, mouse, disc drive to your laptop. Comes with necessary cords and attachments, so adding your external components should be a breeze.

It was easy to set up with the exception for downloading the driver. We had a glitch with finding the compatible driver for my laptop. It finally worked .

This dock was a great purchase in my opinion, it has a great port selection as well as DisplayLink Technology, allowing me to utilize more than 2 monitors on my Apple M1 Mac Mini. This device also has great read/write speeds to any disks that I connect through it. The only drawback with this adapter was how it required a separate power supply rather than using a singular cable connected to the computer. All in all this is a great product and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a great product. I got it at a really good price here at the BestBuy. It works as expected makes my workstation look way more organized!

Supports laptop and three monitors perfectly. Not sure how to add fourth monitor but I will figure it out

It work for adding an extra screen but i needed it to charge my lap top that it didn't do

It came ahead time and works perfectly. It was so easy to simply order from Best Buy. Even better was the product was “open box” so it didn’t cost too much.

Received the docking station and the port for the power cord is defective and doesn’t hold the port. Took it to Best Buy to see if it could be fixed and they said they couldn’t. They also refused to refund the purchase since it was past 15 days since purchased. So I was out the $100 I paid for something I was never able to use.

My monitor no longer goes back intermittently. I can plug what I need.

had this for a few years now. easy to hook up and has enough ports for my needs. no issues with compatibility with any of the devices I hook up. small and compact it fits well on my desk with out taking up too much room

This is a great dock, it's easy to set up, everything connects seamlessly. I have 2 monitors connected to it without any issues. My only complaint is that it's not a charging dock. Seems to defeat the purpose a little bit. I'd rather not have to keep my computer plugged in to charge AND plugged in to the dock!

I was adding a third monitor to my home office setup and this docking station did the trick! I had to do quite a bit of research through various blogs and Dell's support center, but found a post with this product mentioned. Bought it and it was hand delivered by Geek Squad the next day (Totaltech membership for the win!) I have a Dell touchscreen laptop, a Dell monitor, and then another Dell Touchscreen monitor. This device allows for full capabilities of my devices, but also adds additional ports for any of my needed computer/printing accessories. Easy set up of the actual product, although getting the monitors to display the way I wanted took a bit of tweaking (not due to this product). I would recommend.

This was exactly what I needed to be able to easily switch between my personal and my work laptops while also extending over multiple monitors. I have had issue with the wireless keyboard not performing well and had to unplug the usb from the dock and directly into the laptop to get my work done. I have since plugged it into a different usb slot and am waiting to see if I encounter the same issue again.

I have been using it for all my HP ProBooks laptops and this works great. I have connected 3 monitors using this dock and everything works seamlessly.

I bought this to connect two 24in monitors to a laptop. I was also able to use it to connect my wireless keyboard & wireless mouse using two separate USB ports in the docking station. The docking station itself connects to my laptop using a USB, which is even better!!
