Q: What is the difference between a UHD 4K vs 5k? When would I need the 5k?
A: A true 4K display has a resolution of 4,096×2,160 pixels, but most 4K displays you will find are actually "Ultra HD" displays with slightly lower 3,840×2,160 resolutions -- sometimes called 2160p. 5K displays have a resolution of 5,120×2,880 pixels, or about seven times the pixel density of a 1,920×1,080 display.
A: If the Latitude has a USB 3.0 port then yes...
Q: will this work and power up a HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop - 15z-ee100?
A: This docking station will work with HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop and helps to connect up to three additional monitors, various external devices, and the Internet. The dock provides USB charging to peripherals but does not charge the laptop.
Q: Is it possible to swap the USB 3.0 (USB-A) cord for a USB-C cord?
A: You can use with USB-C, if that’s what you’re asking. When I use with my work laptop I use the USB-A port, but for my personal laptop I use a USB-A to USB-C adapter and plug into the USB-C port. Works fine either way.
