Which types of plans offer access to the 5G network?
Currently (as of January 2021), all existing Total Wireless plans support 5G. You do not need any new plans or add-ons to use 5G.

If I’m a Total by Verizon customer, how will my service be impacted?
Existing customers with Total by Verizon service may continue to redeem Total by Verizon legacy plans. Any new activations will have to be on a Total Wireless plan.

If you decide to switch to a Total Wireless plan, you will continue to receive reliable, no-contract, no credit check wireless service. You will continue to enjoy Verizon's network at a great value that fits your lifestyle.

How do I bring my own phone?

Bringing your own phone is easy If your phone is compatible, simply:

  1. Choose a great plan for you.
  2. Select a SIM. Get great services on your current phone with an eSIM or physical SIM kit.
  3. Activate service. That's it!

Will I be able to use the My Account app?

Yes. You can still use the My Total Account app. You will be able to continue using My Account: your login credentials remain the same.

We do encourage you to log into your account and make sure that all your important information is up to date. This includes your:

  • Email address
  • Auto Pay information
  • Primary payment information
  • And that all lines are enrolled in Auto Pay

What is the Lifeline program?
Lifeline is the FCC's program to help make communications services more affordable. You might qualify. If your household is eligible, the national Lifeline program provides the following discounts:

  • $10 per month on any monthly smartphone, hotspot or tablet plan with at least 4.5GB of data
  • Up to $35 per month on any monthly smartphone, hotspot or tablet plan with at least 4.5GB of data on qualifying Tribal Lands

Are all taxes & fees included with Total Wireless plans?
Customers want to know exactly what they are going to pay, and with Total Wireless, what you see is what you pay. All taxes and fees are included with your plan prices.

What happens if I want to change plans?
You can change your plan at any time to the new Total Wireless rate plans. If you change your plan you will be able to take advantage of all of the benefits of the Total Wireless plans.

  • If you change your plan ON your service end date, you will pay for one full month of service. You will also receive the plan's full benefits.
  • If you change your plan BEFORE your service end date, your service may be prorated from the time of the plan change. You will also lose any balance from your previous plan.
  • If you change from a RETIRED plan to a new Total Wireless plan, you cannot revert to the retired plan.

Note: You may have other lines on your account that are receiving discounts or grouped services. If you change your plan, there may be an impact on your current promotions.
