During your coverage period, if one of those products has a covered mechanical failure, Best Buy will provide you with a repair, replacement or store credit. Best Buy Protection Plan service fees

 
Service fees apply to eligible claims not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
Best Buy Protection provides up to two covered claims every 12 months, each subject to a service fee, when outside the manufacturer’s warranty period. Fees are based on the product price at the time of purchase.

AppleCare+ service fees

Eligible service events are subject to service fees. AppleCare+ service fees vary based on product type.

Mac (iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro and Apple Display) Screen-only or external-enclosure-only: $99. All other damage: $299.
iPhone (does not include loss or theft) Screen-only damage: $29. Back glass damage: $29 (applies to iPhone 12 or newer). Any other accidental damage: $99.
iPad iPad: $49. Apple Pencil or Keyboard: $29.
