This laptop checks almost all the boxes for someone on a budget! For me I liked how much performance you can get for the price and how lightweight the laptop is so I can bring it to school without breaking my back! but there’s probably only two things I can say about this laptop that kind of suck. 1. The Screen is pretty awful! Has terrible viewing angles and is particularly dim and really bad if there’s a lot of sunlight in your room at all! 2. This laptop has no backlit keyboard so if you try to use it in the dark thinking you can get around the bad screen that way you won’t be able to see what you’re typing! I know most of this review kind of only explains the bad but if you can get past some of the downfalls the actual laptop itself is pretty powerful for the price! I was able to get it to lightly game depending on the game to be fair. For example I was able to get dark souls two running butter smooth on this laptop but at the same time I was unable to get the original first game to run smooth at all. ( Could be just because the game is older and I didn’t have the remastered version to try out) But all things considered this laptop is pretty nice! It even has another slot for a ram stick if you want to upgrade to 16gb’s instead of the 8 it comes with! If you can look past a poor screen and no backlight then this laptop in this price range is probably one of the best you can find! Also this laptop does have a full sized hdmi port so if you have a nice monitor you want to use it’s as simple as plugging it in. It definitely beats all of the laptops my college was offering me for an extra $100-$200! Also I know no one will use their laptop on an angle like my last photo but I was unable to get my phone to capture how it actually looks when a lot of sun light is present in the room. The screen looks really dull and if you’re in a room with normal lighting you can see the screen has nothing to combat any kind of glare.

It is a really nice laptop for studying (that’s what I’m using it for). The screen is big, which is really convenient. Doesn’t support an HD video running tho. Also lacking the brightness of the display, especially in the sun - it’s hard to see what’s on the screen when it’s bright outside. I tried to fix it through settings but the brightness was set on maximum, so there was nothing I could do. However, I would still say it’s a decent laptop.

The laptop is very plastic-y, but for the sale price.. It's a good machine with upgrades. The LCD Panel Dell uses is absolutley trash, but for $45 on Amazon it was an easy upgrade to a decent IPS 1080p panel. After swapping the LCD for a 1080p (took 15min), upgrading the RAM and storage, I ended up saving a few hundred bucks compared to ordering this configured from Dell this way. If you're techincal at all, and this is on sale, a $45 LCD swap will make this very usable as the included 720p LCD is awful. LCD Part number B156HAN02.1 is what I used. Swapped in a good IPS 1080p panel (30pin connector, bottom right), extra 8GB RAM, and 1TB SSD for $50. Performs solid, okay for low level gaming, and battery life is decent for a 44wH battery.

I have had my Dell about a year now I did have to trade it in something was wrong with the hardware but otherwise the functionality is great. It has a lot of storage and it’s good for everything I need to do. I basically bought it for school.

Don’t play this laptop with the intention of high-definition games like Val and FN. It was already slowing down and this seemed to have pushed it to its end; but for the year, it’s been alright. Heavy as heck though, so it’s alright for its price but I’d think twice. Sorry Dell.

Quick and low profile, worth every dollar spent. Minimalistic look, decent keyboard and battery life with moderate performance.

This laptop is fast and perfect for what we use it for. It's a little complicated with window's 11 and takes sometime to get used to but overall were happy with it

I am happy with it. I didn't realize when I bought it that it does not have touch screen which is fine by me because I don't use touch screen even when I have it.

Bought it as an open box item, a few scratches but it works great. Good price so I can overlook the scratches.
