I purchased this laptop last year January and it has been phenomenal in terms of functionality, speed, and overall performance. I really like this product. The downside to this is, roughly after 6 months of purchasing, the fan stopped working and I had it repaired under warranty. After the Dell technician repaired it, the right hinge started came loose and left the screen hanging. Again, another technician came in a completed the repairs. Six months after that repair, the hinges went out again in the same spot and dell suggested I pay for the repairs since its no longer under warranty, even though this is a previous problem I had with them. If you decide to get the laptop, I recommend purchasing the extended warranty, otherwise I do not recommend. I do not think I will ever purchase another dell product for personal or professional use.

This laptop was part of an early Black Friday deal and the price was great for the hardware you get. Unfortunately a week after buying the laptop the ssd inside somehow came disconnected and I returned it for a new one. If it wasn’t for that it would be a five star review. The computer is great now that I have a working one. Best Buy’s customer was very helpful with the return and made it pretty easy to exchange for a new one. I think I may have just gotten unlucky but it might be worth it to go for the extra protection that allows you to return it for 60 days.

Nothing wrong with the product it self. Just the company. How are you going to charge someone for an item and than 3 weeks later charge tax again on the same item saying theres a issue with ypur computers. I think that is crap and should the companies problem and not email the customer and say hey guess what we didnt charge you enough money so we are gonna charge your card again dont worry u dont have to do anything. EXCUSE ME WHAT THAT IS BULLCRAP

I enjoy the product, mostly. I feel that the hardware and everything is right for me, but I can’t get over Dell’s egregious failure to make proper software. NO, DELL. I don’t want to rate your system every week. How can I turn that off!?!? This is MY hardware. I will not recommend this product until I have more autonomy over what notifications Dell sends me.
