Laptop functioned well, but only lasted about 3 months. Normal open/closing of the screen has a flaw due to the thin bezel. You need to apply a little bit of pressure to open & close the laptop. The laptop will crack in that area if you are not careful. Dell does not help fix this issue, so you are left with paying roughly $400 to replace the screen on a $1000 laptop.

I purchsed this laptop and the very first time I opened it, the pressure of my thumb as I opened it shattered the screen. I had it repaired and the exact same thing happened again. I never even got to use it. The cost of the repair was almost as much as the original cost of the laptop, Terrible design as there is no edge you can use to open up the screen!

I am using this laptop from one week but it didnt meet my expectations. Battery lasts only 3 hrs on full charge which is very disappointing, when i am working on 2 excel sheets it gets stuck and i need to force restart the laptop. Audio is very very bad and laptop makes fan noise which is disgusting. I highly recommend not to buy this laptop

The best laptop if want to just be used on the Go. I tried to used it on my WFH setup (2 monitors, dock, etc) and it just couldn’t perform. The laptop started to overheat (fan noise too loud too) and the overall performance just slowed down (just with quite of tabs open and a YouTube video playing). Dell must work on its cooling system.

I like the computer for the most part, however there are some downsides to this computer. For the most part, the software runs which is good. But, the Bluetooth just doesn't work consistently. It will work for awhile then just disconnect. I will then get it to reconnect before it disconnects again. Finally, after an hour it just will not connect again. I've tried trouble shooting it but it just does not work. I don't think I will buy another XPS , because I expect the hardware to work.

Never buy anything at Best Buy otherwise they will sell you a faulty product & they you keep moving from one person to another for fixing the issue. Warranties are just scam. After wasting 4 -5 hours they will suggest you a way which is completely impractical. Dell scammed me for this laptop.

This laptop was to be dedicated to work. Within 3 weeks, it stopped working. The laptop was not abused in anyway. It was not dropped, bumped, crushed or had a liquid spilled on it. After working with Dell Support for nearly 3 hours they concluded the motherboard needed to be replaced. About a week later, a Dell tech came out to my house to replace the integrated motherboard and hard drive. As a result, the operating system has to be re-installed. Another 45 min with Dell support and they conclude I have to ship it back to Dell to have the operating system installed. I may have it back it another week. Meantime, I have lost more than half a day to deal with a brand new laptop that is suppose to help solve problems. And I had to buy another laptop for work. The support staff have been professional and helpful but the structure to resolve issues puts to burden on me. This was a problem I did not create. I'll never buy another Dell again.

STAY AWAY from Dell. I purchased my XPS 12 months ago with the very expensive Premium Protection Plus option. My screen quit working and Dell is unable to get somebody out to fix my computer while also refusing to send me a replacement. Dell has gone downhill. If you purchase a Dell, they will promise you the world with their Premium Plus protection but please know that Dell will refuse to help you if your computer breaks. do not waste your money on Dell or their very expensive support plans. They will weasel their way out of helping fix their broken product.
