It's meant for younger audiences but honestly if you like Pokemon you'll enjoy this. It's a really fun and fresh new take on the Pokemon franchise! Love the mystery and story elements. I had a lot of fun with the original Detect Pikachu so I'm super excited to continue the storyline and see what happens in this sequel!!! Also the pokemon are just SOOO cute in this!!!

My 7-year old niece wanted this for Christmas and she’s been enjoying every second! She loves Pokemon without the violence so this was everything she wanted. Much of the story is told through text but it’s keeping her engaged and sharpening her reading skills. If you have a child who’s enamored by the Detective Pikachu spinoffs or the franchise as a whole, you can’t go wrong here.

I enjoyed the first game. I did not set the bar high for this next title but there is no challenge at all to the detective work. You cannot fail. I do not feel a sense of accomplishment because of that. Realizing this game is for younger kids. I still thought they were overly simple. Quick time events where you need to mash the A button need to go away. Sorry but I would not recommend this title, not even to Pokémon fans like me who grew up playing these games.

If your child enjoys Pokemon as much as mine, I would highly recommend picking this up. As someone who plays all the main line games, this is a wonderful change of pace. I enjoyed playing this with my son a lot. It’s just challenging enough to make you want to move forward with the story and the pacing is great.

A very fun casual game. This isn't mean to be challenging, there's no action or anything either. This can be compared to a graphic novel, you're supposed to play along for the story and pokemon environment. I think it's great! Perfect for kids, or pokemon fans of all ages!

This game won’t be for everyone, but if you love Pokémon characters, it’s a fun, charming game that shows them from a different perspective. Reminiscent of point and click adventure games of old.

Fun game where you solve mysteries with Pikachu. You try to figure out what happened to Pikachu's former partner, who is the father of his current partner. You get to talk to Pokemon in English with Pikachu as your translator,

This game is great for young people fascinated by pokemon who will benefit from learning deduction skills and reasoning. The game is engaging and entertaining while also teaching these important life skills.

Neber played it for gameboy but enjoyed playing it enough to play it twice. Cant wait for the second one to come out.

Bought this for my grandson on his birthday. He had been waiting for this to be released it was just in time for his birthday.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter. She loves it. Its a fun game for anyone that loves Pokemon.
